Fight against England? Scots vote today on separation. They want independence.

What happens to the Union Jack Flag If Scotland leaves the United Kingdom?

Adding in green for the Welsh ?

Where have you been? Many countries still under UK, United States is the only country that successfully divorced from Queen of England!
LOL, I don't know much about British history like you and Foxrac do. The only place I know that used to be under British control is Hong Kong.

Falkland was one of countries trying to divorce from England, Margret Thatcher resent that and send their army over there, Falkland citizen was too in timid and gave up. I am sure there are some AD members remember that back then in 80's

And guess what? Canada too is under UK. I am not sure about Australia and I think they are, JClarke may know the correct answer.

OMG, Falkland Islands did not revolt, they were invaded by Argentina who also claims the islands. Silly.

Additionally, there are just 4 nations that comprise the UK: England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales; all other affiliations are just possession, etc....

But Quebec is independence under province of Canada? French speaking is 80%.

Quebec tried to get independence from Canada, but were not successful. French speaking is Francophone which is primary language in Quebec. They don't want Quebec to be separate from Canada. It would be silly to have Quebec separate from Canada. It look better with all of their provinces.

Remember I used to lived in Canada for a long time. I know about these. :P

That is true of other provinces that are under UK, but were not under Quebec as they were from France. So that is a different one province. No wonder they wanted to separate from Canada as Quebec people want to have their own country as "Little France" (I think that is what they want to call it). I may be wrong on the title for Quebec. :dunno:
