Scary flight...

I'll bet the New Yorkers who watched the whole thing were terrified thinking it was another terrorist attack...

Actually, Hudson River. Hudson Bay is way up north in Canada.

that's why they were very quick to say that it is caused by Canada Al-Qa<cough> i mean Geese.

My roommate told me about this recently. It's surprising that everyone survived. :)

Well, the plane can't fly without engines and the engines quit working when a bird got sucked into the engines. Is that the answer you were looking for? :)

What if there was someone who had a truckload of geese and burst the doors open scaring them to fly away just as the plane took off? :Ohno:
 
I'm just amazed by how well this turned out.

The pilots deserves medals. They saved more than the lives of the people on the plane.

Reminds me of some action hero movie, where eveyone is saved and disaster was deverted. Landing on the "Hudson River" was fantastic!! Imagine if it was in the city. Not only the people on the plane would have died but on land as well.

wait till tomorrow. There will probably be tons of press conference to hail this hero. No doubt that he will receive some kind of honorable commendation for this because all planes that crashed into Hudson River were perished... no survivors.
