My co workers and I watched a part of it with our students. We had a lot of fun discussing the while thing and the history of the Royal family all day at work. One of the aides said we should have had a hat contest. I said maybe when Prince Harry marries, we can devote everything at work to Great Britain. It was ironic that the wedding he happened in this time of the year because the other 5 th grade teacher and I have been teachng or students about Colonial America for Social Studies since January with different units. Currently, iam teaching the political science unit with how America's government started with the Patriots being angry with the British King's unfair taxes and laws. So when we told or students about the wedding, one of them said that Prince William better not be a mean King and impose unfair taxes on tea....that was soo cute! We all laughed....unforgettable
I felt it was a nice break from all the drama about Obama

I loved the wedding dress. It looks similar to Grace Kelly's wedding dress.

The bride wore a second white dress at the reception. It was pretty, too, and it looked far more comfortable than the dress for the ceremony. Smart bride!

Kate is going to be a trend-setter, I'd guess. She may usher in a "less is more" sort of style, which I think we are all ready for. Simple, classic taste. I like everything I've ever seen her in so far.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen not to depart for a honeymoon immediately. Instead, after spending the weekend privately in the United Kingdom, The Duke will return to work as a Search and Rescue pilot next week.

The locations of both their private weekend before The Duke returns to work and their future honeymoon, which will be overseas, will not be disclosed in advance.
