Royal Wedding

I never seen trees installed in Westminster Abbey before. Kate loves the outdoors. she ordered more than four tons of foliage to create an English country garden setting inside Westminster Abbey.

I missed it. I did just see a clip at the end of the midday news. They looked happy.

Oh. I saw trees and thought that they were there long before. I thought they look beautiful.

Me too.

The trees are going to be planted on Prince Charles' estate. Probably he will eventually give that estate to William, according to the news story.

They were a lovely touch to give the feel of an English countryside. Very imaginative.

I thought the same thing yesterday !!! I hadn't been paying attention to him in a while so I was surprised at his hair.

Oy. Do I sound vain
I didn't know my husband had a bald spot until I saw our wedding photos. One of them was him kissing me with his head at just the right angle to show the bald spot. He was 35 when we married...and already graying. Premature gray runs in his family which my girls are not thrilled to know. :o

I don't consider it to be premature greying in that age range. I would say 30 to 50 is pretty normal when it comes to greying. It's nothing to be ashamed of. In fact, a lot of people's hair start greying by the time they reach adulthood. Regarding baldness, it varies. A lot of people start balding as soon as they reach adulthood, while some may start balding or thinning later in life.

Well, they might be "poorer" if the Brits ever change the laws and make the royals support themselves more from the earnings from their estates.

You never know what the future will bring - look what happened to the Russian royal family!

I never knew - How does one gets earning from one's estate?

How does one gets earning from one's estate
?

From agriculture, mostly. Prince Charles sells vegetables, believe it or not. Plus there are other income-generating uses, like selling the wool from sheep bred on the estates, that sort of thing. Do a google search on British royal estates; you'll find a lot of info if you're interested.

Royals wedding cakes each for receptions not same receptions but chocolate cakes is Prince William's childhood cakes favorites and white wedding cakes but new married couples decide have double receptions from Prince Charles for evening and HM Queen Elizabeth daytimes..

Wirelessly posted

I didn't watch it, just saw some coverage the couple looked beatuiful.

Maybe William and Kate(oh sorry I mean Catherine) will be like Diana, just living life like normal people.

Well, Diana never really lived a normal life, but she will be pleased for her son that he'd have as normal marriage as possible. Besides, Prince Will told his grandmother that he wanted to have a private life with his new wife for first two years of marriage as the Queen had. Queen gave her consent.

It was beautiful. I got up at o'dark-thirty to watch it. Gorgeous gown; I loved the simple, classic look. The embroidery on the bottom of the dress was so beautiful, yet understated and subtle. Her tiara and veil were perfect complements to the gown.

Agreed about the dress. The tiara really complemented her.
