Ron Paul on Michele Bachmann: ‘She Hates Muslims’

Bauchman caters to a religious base so she needs to say exactly what the religious base wants to hear, no different than any other politician.

Every religion's goal is to promote world conversion, it wouldn't be a religion if it didn't.

USA has more than one religion and the Muslim faith is the fastest growing religion in the US. If she's only going to cater to one religious base, she'll never get elected.

Rather blatantly discriminatory, yes. (to steinhauer)

Since truthers are trying to establish that the US Government has no problem killing 3,000 innocent people, and tens of thousands in the conflict following 9/11 - then why wouldn't they kill off just a few more folks? What is just a few more lives to them to make sure this conspiracy is successful?

Hahahaha...ok, Steinhauer, I will take pity on you and let you stay in your blissful ignorance, you seem to prefer it there.

Seems you have to be able to "hear" to be Jewish - how audist!

Seems like you take what Koko has mistakenly implied and run with it. Try finding the facts instead of running with nonsense.

Give the kid an ice cream cone. He will put it against his forehead.

The whole idea of converting others is a practice unique to Christians, and even then, mostly to Protestant Christians. I mean, how many Jews or Muslims do you see walking around knocking on doors and leaving pamplets or offering to transport your kids to "Sunday school" on the church van?

Actually there are many Muslims who see it as part of their religion to convert non-Muslims. I speak from personal experience as I used to work with devout Muslims. Also there are areas of London where Islam is the majority religion and you will see them proselytising, distributing leaflets, standing on soap boxes, etc.

This is the type of ignorance and tendency to form beliefs on mistaken premises that I was referring to earlier in this thread. These are the type of people that bought what Hitler sold.

Not sure if you're referring to my post or the discussion preceding it. But I can assure that my post was not based on ignorance.

You can't really have a group unless you have distinguished yourself from other groups in a way that makes your group superior, otherwise nobody would be interested in it.

Conversion happens in all religions and this is a method of furthering it. And, Judaism too allows for conversion through marriage, honorary and individual inclusion. Indoctrination usually happens through schools at a young age in all religions when people are impressionable. In addition, some religions, including Muslim, have severe consequences for people leaving a religion.

Luther's 95th thesis was a statement of oppression and Calvin used coercion.

The inquisitions were also no small event, but such things are not unique to Catholicism.

At the least, religions uses passive aggressiveness. At worst, out right violence.

So again, the purpose of religion is to spread, not shrink.

What made you bring this up on this thread?

What made you bring this up on this thread?

This particular post or the entire thread? My response to the thread was Bachman's religious approach to appease the base.

To the individual posters, I'm answering:

TheWRiteAlax: Message #13
Jillio: message #14: It's not project it's real
Jillo: message #34

And a few others. The thread is about Muslims and Bachman.

Edit: or more precise her use of it.
