Yes, but outside of the gun dealer in Missouri refusing to sell a gun to someone who "didn't look right" how often does that happen. Banning military guns from private sale won't prevent tragic events from happening, but it will cut down the number of victims. You aren't going to keep someone from acting on their intentions but you will cut down the damage and death they can inflict.
 
Save the 2A! I bought my wife a Mossberg 500 ATP (A=12ga, Tactical, Police) riot shotgun for Valentines Day. It used to belong to our County Sheriffs Dept. Wife was like a kid on Xmas morning. And, oh..I got laid too. Save the 2A!

Yet I will try another question, maybe you will grow a set and answer.... how does banning things help? We ban killing, torture, child porn, drugs, teenage smoking, rape, and so much other stuff that happens every day....
 
It is a form of theft really - when a Liberal claims they know how you feel and how you think - it goes back to the slave owning days of the Democratic party. It is ingrained in their political ideology thatthose they don't like or disagree with are somehow inferior and must be controlled and owned.

I can't believe that no one answer my post #18 about address the self-defense for people with mental health issues that unable to own guns.

Both of you, conservative and liberal are responsible for dividing the America.

I did not want to be irresponsible and give you bad advise. I do not know your state laws. You seem like an intelligent person, perhaps you can google it?

Also Republican Party used to be more liberal than Democratic Party in 1850, also republicans used to be dominant in northern and midwestern states.

Unfortunately, call 911 or meele weapons are only option for people who unable to own gun due to medical issues, especially mental disorders, that far as I know.

But... if they aren't red flagged on NCIS so they should allowed to keep gun or buy gun, also locked them in closet.

Also, I live in Alabama and I noticed that more law enforcement agencies, except sheriff departments will report you to NCIS if you have suicidal thought or mental conditions that concerned them.

Bama has excellent pro_2A laws. Not everyone gets red flagged. It depends on severity. Is there a way for you to check eligibility?

Yes but if it is reported by Birmingham Police Department so there will be very high chance that you will be red flagged, also they ordered me to show my ID and they filled the report before sent me to hospital via ambulance. They patted me down.

But in Florida, sheriff department didn't ask me for ID nor fill the report, even they didn't pat me down so they took me in sheriff car to hospital at no charge. I did tell them that I want to wait for taxi so they told me - no need, they don't want me to pay for expensive taxi.

I was forced to stay at hospital overnight in Alabama but I can go to home on same day after stayed for 8 hours in Florida, after talked to psychiatrist.

First answer how owning a assault rifle has made us in the US safer? Do we have a lower death toll from gun related crimes than anyone else in the civilized world? The more guns out there, the less safe we as a society become. The system we have in place right now has only gotten us a lot of innocent dead bodies that get the crazy's to only proclaim we need more guns to make us safer. I'm done with the discussion because you there is no point to it and it will obviously solve nothing.

I have used an assault riffle to defend myself, thank you very much, I feel much safer. :) as for the rest, you refuse to answer anyone ...therfore unable to have any kind of discussion... Have a good day.
 
Banning guns will not stop... terrorist will look for another way... such as suicide bomber. So what would one suggest to make people safer?
