I have to admit I've thought the same about certain men, though. Sometimes the way a man is dressed I go thinking "he must be a gigolo." Perhaps it's FAR from the truth but I see how appearances can be deceiving, and it's hard to not have snap judgment, no matter how kind or good we are. It's the nature of our society, ain't it? :)

Some crazy woman was paying the child support to her boyfriend's former girlfriend. I can't believe that any guy is worth that. I think that woman was a doormat.

haha sounds like my father, i've seen him make the "he must be a gigolo" comment many times before. i agree with your statement ..i just don't like when i see girls calling another girl a slut for just wearing simple clothes.. like skinny jeans, zip up hoodie over a tank top. that's ridiculous
 
Where the H3ll does MIL get off telling me when to cook dinner for the family? No one was hungry yet. We all had a late (2-3pm) lunch so we wanted dinner after 7pm. Hubby was also busy enough, he didn't get his lunch till 4pm. MIL has it in her head that since she's having hubby and daughter go do her grocery shopping, she wants them to do it after dinner therefore I had to cook earlier than planned. Now, in essence, I cannot eat since I am so royally pissed!!
 
My directv original black box is pissin' me off. On some channels, no signal from satellite dish so I have to wait. The box is old and will not get a new one 'til the fucker is broke 100 percent b/c everything is expensive. GRRRRRRR........... It's doin' much better today. I worked on it and Im good. :)
 
i am such a procrastinator on getting new mold but i haven't! :mad2: I keep saying to myself that i will go to a hearing service to get a new one. That was over two yrs ago. :o now my mold is getting worse. why must i have to go to the hearing service over and over. ugh!

MIL has apologized and did not realize how insensitive she was being. It left her feeling very upset with herself and in tears for the night. She also mentioned that I do so much for her and she never admits it and is hoping that I do realize she appreciates it but also realizes that her behavior like yesterday does not show it at all. All in all, we are having a good day today.
 
It's really hard for a control freak to accept aging and being vulnerable. Your MIL has to face it, though.

Yeah - she's the control freak and I am the OCD freak in this house. I also like being in control and you can't have "two captains in charge of one ship" as they say. I am working very hard to not let her get to me. I tend to fly off the handle as they say and I really need to control that more. As I think Jillio would say and my current therapist would say, it's all mostly due to my Situational Anxiety that I am currently going through.
 
Can't they make anything that'll last a year anymore!!?? Went to use can opener I bought not even 3 months ago and plastic handle decides not to work anymore! ARRGGG!!

We bought a toaster and after the first month, the handle that you push down broke off. Luckily, the company replaced it free of charge. I called the 800 number and complained, they sent me a new replacement toaster and a return label with postage paid to send the defective one back. This was a Proctor & Silex.

MIL had bought a new "under cabinet mount" can opener and it quit after the first month and Black & Decker could care less. I now use my hand can opener. This hand opener has been going faithfully for the last 20 years. Wash it and once a week I spray the gears with non-stick cooking spray for lubrication and then, no problems.
