I wasnt sure who to ask. But I wanted to know if I could put up a short questionarre for people to respond to.

Its in correspondance to a presentation that I am doing for deaf people in the workplace.

It wouldnt be a questionarre that requires personal information. Im asking because the information will be used in my paper for college, and I wasnt sure if that would be a violation to board rules.

Here are some sample questions:

What inspired you to choose your job/profession?

What have been the most rewarding aspects?

Thank you.

Good job! Work hard and we know you can succeed. Surprised with your three deaf kids you did not know how hard this site is on students.

If you were coming for a while, why did you just join? And even more pertinant, why did you not notice the harshness to students.

MY kids are CODA's. So I wonder, does that make you a MODK and future GODGK? :hmm:

No need to answer, I will research it. ;)

Actually ive been coming here for a while(Im a mom of three deaf). I searched "work", "Career" and cant find anything Im looking for. Ill post my questions here, and if anyone cares to respond Id appreciate it. Just pm me.

What inspired you to choose your job/profession?

What have been the most rewarding aspects?

What have been the most challenging aspects of your job?

Was it easy/hard to get your job? What modifications did you have to make? or modifications made for you? How do you feel about making modifications or having modifications made for you?

The reason why the other thread that were posted in to your response which was given by Bottesini (post #2) is because we get so many questions that were asked over and over again. The answers are already commonly available for those who wanted to obtain it.

It is in general for those who does questionnaires/surveys for their college homework/thesis/projects, so and on.

As I said in another thread that if there weren't any questions that has been asked before; You are welcome to post it, provided that it isn't the common questions that we've received a lot of time. Just make sure it is related to your "work" issues instead of shooting out such general questions that are related to what lies beneath that.

Another thing, you probably have used the general keywords in the search feature on this forum which is why it may have made it a bit harder for you not to be able to get what you were able to find for.

Either way, Welcome to AllDeaf! :)

I hope you will be able to find what you're searching for. :)

I know that there is a profession thread. Check that out.

If we answered every query someone posted here, we'd spend all of our time answering questions. And the same questions over and over.
