WRAD FRAUD ALERT
This fraud alert concerns a person named Richard Roehm who is allegedly
operating an organization in Orange County, California USA.
Mr. Roehm has asserted to the deaf community in many email messages that
he is a "Member" of the California Governor's Committee on Employment
of
Disabled Persons. WRAD has contacted the Committee office in Sacramento,
California. Be advised that Richard Roehm is DEFINITELY NOT associated
with that Committee. HE IS LYING TO THE DEAF COMMUNITY. For further

Mr. Roehm has also been sending email messages telling the deaf
community that his agency "OCDAC" is an "Employment Network"
under the
new SSA Ticket to Work Plan. THIS IS NOT TRUE. HE IS LYING TO THE DEAF
COMMUNITY. For confifrmation of this lie, contact Donald Cook, one of
the Program Managers for the Ticket to Work Program that is being run by

DonaldCook@maximus.com . Richard Roehm and "OCDAC" are NOT
involved with the SSA Ticket to Work program's Employment Network.
Mr. Roehm has also illegally obtained the email lists for WRAD and also
for the GLAD organization in Southern California and he may have other
mailing lists, too. He has been using those lists to frighten, scare,
mislead, deceive and defraud many people and organizations in the deaf
community for several years. He has criticized almost every organization
within the deaf community, including WRAD, GLAD, the NAD, the CAD, and
many WRAD and GLAD subsidiaries.
Mr. Roehm is also under indictment and in court proceedings for abusing
his former deaf and disabled wife, and he is alleged to have abused
and/or lied to many other deaf people, particularly deaf women.
Mr. Roehm is known to operate "OCDAC," "Deaf Advocacy Network,"
and
several other websites. Apparently, he has not worked at a regular job
in general society for many years, and he is spending most of his time
creating havoc, confusion, dissent, fears and fraud throughout the deaf
community on the worldwide Internet.
THE DEAF COMMUNITY IS CAUTIONED AND WARNED NOT TO LISTEN TO, BELIEVE, OR
COOPERATE WITH FRAUDULENT INDIVIDUALS OR FRAUDULENT ORGANIZATIONS.

WRAD FRAUD REPORT- ADDITIONAL INFO
Many people in the deaf community have commented to WRAD that there are
some people who have been working "under the table" and not reporting
their income to the Social Security Administration. There are
unfortunately also still some people who try to illegally "fake" being
deaf to get SSA benefits when they are not really eligible for those
benefits. These people who act illegally hurt BOTH the deaf community
AND the hearing taxpayers who are providing those government benefits to
deaf and disabled people.
If you know anyone who is acting illegally or fraudulently while
receiving SSI, SS Retirement, SSDI, and/or SSDAC government benefits
from the United States Social Security Administration, you can go to the
website at
http://www.ssa.gov/oig/guidelin.htm and file a CONFIDENTIAL
report. You can also make a fraud report at any Social Security office.
Please MAKE SURE that you are telling the TRUTH if you make a fraud
report about anyone. But if someone is really acting illegally, then
their illegal actions should be reported to SSA. We all have a duty as
citizens to report illegal actions to the appropriate authorities.
