i remember when they used to play this song on the radio over and over again. i never got tired of it and ended up buying the album, cassette and eventually, cd.

Dont forget that wasnt the only video they made for that song. They were known for making 2-3 different videos for their hits. Like for instance the US video for the chickacherry cola song isnt the same one for the AUS version.

But yeah that song is hellagood, but damn the cheese factor on that one is way up there. BTW, I noticed that Darren didnt really care much for the song anyway. I can understand why, he knew his face and voice would be forever attached to this one song to be played at weddings for all of eternity.

Hey Koala do you recall them releasing different versions of their albums in different countries? IE they had an AUS version of their debut album and an international one. The AUS version included some B-sides I believe.

Wish I could find 'Random Blinking Light' but it was never released in the US let alone internationally, maybe someday I will visit AUS and get my Savage Garden Collection complete.
 
Right now I can't get enough of Ellis Paul. I don't know how to put the links here, but you can check out his stuff on youtube. Antje Duvekot writes and plays with him and is also one of my favorites.
