I have too many favorites! But I'll put down one of them....

Warning : This is really a sweet dessert!

Strawberry Preztel Dessert

2 cups crushed preztels
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup coarsely chopped pecans
3/4 cup margarine

Combine above mixture
Press mixture lightly into greased 9x13 pan. Bake approximately 10 min. in 350 degree oven. Cool.

8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
9 oz. tub whipped topping

Spread over bottom layer. Set in refrigerator.

6 oz. pkg. strawberry jello
2 cups boiling water
2 boxes (10oz.) frozen strawberries

Dissolve gelatin, add strawberries when partially congealed, put over first layer.

So GOOD! YUM!

i try to figure this out how long should
i put creamcheese/sugar/whipped cream
in the refrigerator before pour the
strawberry mixture over the first/bottom layer ?

Yup, It is a good one! I love it ... :)

Just set it in refrigerator until the strawberry jello mixture is congealed enough to be poured over the first/bottom layer. If you prepared the strawberry mixture early just take a look at that second mixture n' see if it's stiff enough to be poured over .. it doesn't really matter, really.

Chicken La King

3 tablespoons butter or margarine

1 cup (about 3 ounces) sliced fresh mushrooms

1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper

1/4 cup chopped onion

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon paprika

2 cans (12 fl. oz. each) CARNATION Evaporated Milk

3 large egg yolks, beaten

2 cups cooked, chopped chicken breast meat

2 tablespoons diced pimiento (optional)

2 tablespoons dry sherry (optional)

8 refrigerated biscuits, prepared according to package directions

MELT butter in large skillet over medium heat. Add mushrooms, bell pepper and onion; cook, stirring occasionally, for 1 to 2 minutes or until tender but not brown. Stir in flour, salt and paprika. Gradually add evaporated milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil.

WHISK 1 cup thickened sauce into egg yolks; pour into saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil. Stir in chicken, pimiento and sherry. Heat through.

SERVE immediately over hot biscuits.
