Post Office to temporarily increase stamp prices

with post office trying to adapt to current ways of things (electronic), and they are hiring more monkeys that are cheaper but cant seem to get the work done right and done on time, cutting hours to union people but giving them to monkeys that still screw up, its no wonder po is falling apart. they are stuck with congress saying no to PO ideas to change and save money now to stop hemmoraging then its going to continue to bleed and eventually life could stop if they are not administered a shock support now. Can you imagine a NEW post office after old one dies? can you imagine the ramification across the WHOLE nation? It won't be pretty.

Just think - if someone wants to verify their home address with the government, provee your identity like at DMV, SSA, birth/death/marriages, welfare, etc the whole country is affected. Dont say it wont happen- if no one stands up it can happen.

They may have good unions back then and had good contract.. old time had great, stronger unions. Now contracts changed and weakened unions with greeds. If there is corrupted business agents or secretary, the members have the options to vote them out and change their local unions.

I think people have their rights to work as they should not be forced into unions they don't agree with. They could withdraw unions in writing and not having to pay monthly dues.

Postal workers are not required to join the union as per contract.

BTW, many unions in the past were controlled by mafia who would torture or kill you if you didn't join, I think. In other words, old unions were corrupted and greedy. Not today.
