By the way, I know it is a bit of off topic. What is your opinion on the cousin marriage? I'm curious.
It leads to birth defects.

Same with another Christian or Religions Forums Sites. I see them being vicious when they comes to debate or discuss. There is nothing positive in their posts when it comes to various religious topics and throw insults toward religious people. Even they insult Wiccans and me, myself as a Wiccan.
So, if we are religious and/or conservative then we must be not good people to them. =/
I don't use the "bible."
I know many people of many different religious beliefs who are very good kind people. I also know many people who are not religious who are just as good and as kind.
and to flip the coin here - I know of many so-called Christians who are the least Christ-like people I know and are as equally vicious as those you've described on religious forums and threads.
Radical? Conservative maybe, but I don't see ignorance and intolerance on Reba's part.
I don't remember ever reading anything positive coming from any of your posts. Just random visciousness.
Semantics much?
How did this thread turn into "all about Reba" anyway?
I believe I remember what you in particular dislike me for. I disagree with your views on autism, don't I?
Yes, you caught me. Believing in the wholeness of autistic people and the validity of autistic identity means I'm secretly just out to make other people feel bad.
I can't possibly be defending those sick, struggling autistics fighting to get better
Yes, I have a particular dislike for people who are so caught up in their religious ideology that its all you can hear from them. You can't have a discussion with people who respond to everything you say with "but xyz religious text says..."
and that's just grating!
No , I dislike your contentious attitude on every subject.
Lowercase "bible" is any authoritative book on any topic such as carpentry, sewing, fishing, etc.Semantics much?
Opinions. Try them on, they're actually really fun. I promise nobody is harmed during the act of -someone on the internet having a different opinion than them-.

More like infamous to some people. Oh, well. You're famous!

I really appreciated your commonsense on that now infamous "Ultrasound required before abortion" thread. So, keep opining, I may not always agree with you but I like your no-nonsense attitude.

The Holy Bible or Bible is the title of a specific book--a proper noun. I know that you know how to capitalize because you capitalized Santa Claus.
I don't like playing grammar police but here are the capitalization rules:
Proper nouns, such as God and Bible, Toyota and Grapes of Wrath, the White House and Cleveland are capitalized.
Common nouns, such as gods and bible, car and novel, stucco house and city are not.
You see that because almost all the normal poly families are very, very quiet about their lives and do not seek out cameras, publicity, or the threat of the law.
That is NOT the truth of polygamy. Those who use it as an excuse to abuse others are in the minority- just like people being abused in mono marriages does not make mono marriages abusive.
What animals ("other species") do isn't relevant to what humans do. Some animals eat poop and sniff each others' butts but that doesn't mean it's right for humans.
Animals are driven by instinct. Humans have a conscious will that can be influenced by instinct and experience but in the end, they make choices.
Are you sure that you studied the Victorian era?
