Poll: Growing number incorrectly call Obama Muslim

I'm surprised more people don't claim Obama worships African deities. Regarding the last clip of him swimming in the Gulf--"Hear me, Nun, Prince of Darkness!" - - - *splash*

:laugh2::laugh2:

Funny how quickly they forget that Obama attended the same church of a black Christian preacher, Jeremiah Wright who heads a Christian megachurch for 20 years.

Are they capable of understanding that Muslims do NOT go to Christian churches? They go to mosques. Where is evidence that Obama went to a mosque to worship Allah in the past 20 years?

You don't actually "need" to go to a mosque to be Muslim. As long as your skin is a bit darker, you look vaguely like "them Arabs," and you don't blindly hate other Muslims and spew islamophobic crap every 5 minutes, then of course you must be a Muslim. There's no other possibility.

Obama practices Wicca!!!! Run for your lives people!

How (can you answer this instead of answering a question with a question?) does the number of times he pray have to do with his job as the President of the United States?

I never said that.

I asked, how often does he pray in a day? He could be on his 6th holiday vacation and pray as many as he want. He can pray 5 times a day if he wanted to.

Curious..why did you want to know?

"Pastors who have prayed with President Barack Obama defended his Christian faith Thursday as the White House downplayed new polling that showed a steep climb since he took office in the percentage of Americans who think he's Muslim or at least don't believe that he's Christian.

"He is a Christian by choice, a devout Christian," said Pastor Kirbyjon Caldwell of Windsor Village United Methodist Church in Houston. Caldwell is among a group of Christian leaders whom Obama regularly calls for inspiration. Caldwell also officiated at the wedding of President George W. Bush's daughter Jenna.

Just an interesting question.

So I take it the fact that Muslims pray 5 times a day and 5 is the number you chose randomly in a previous post is just... a coincidence?

of course, it's coincidence...

It doesn't matter what the public thinks, the fact is that he is NOT a practicing Muslim and he attends a Christian church. That's the fact confirmed by his own actions.

End of discussion.

Praying "5 times a day" does not make one a Muslim person.

Lots of people are interested in that question. I wonder what he prays about, too? The imagination runs wild here. Of course, we have to assume he prays "daily," too.

How often does he pray in a day?
:hmm:

Does it matter? If he prayed 50 times a day, with a Crucifix tattooed on his forehead, you would still bash him. "He spends all day praying. No wonder nothing gets done."

Why not send a team of journalists to follow his every step. When he prays, they can have him clasp hands, kneel, and close his eyes. The journalists can use a counting device to keep accurate records. They could have a timekeeper for duration.

I am again amazed at how deep the cesspool has gotten. Count on this; when the Conservatives are back in power, expect an absolute refusal of cooperation from the Liberal side. That is one of the reasons nothing gets done these days. There is nothing but party politics at work. And guess what? We all suffer.

Why should we care how many times he prays? or even don't pray?

I'm sure he prays to lower his golf handicap.:eek3:

You can be certain it is something you disagree with. And he gets paid from our taxes to do it. Ain't that something?

Like I said,

I asked, how often does he pray in a day? He could be on his 6th holiday vacation and pray as many as he want. He can pray 5 times a day if he wanted to.

Just an interesting question of mine. Maybe he's not that religious then? Maybe he's deeply religious and doesn't want anybody to know? Maybe he actually visits mosques secretly. Maybe not. Maybe he's a secret Catholic? Maybe not. Maybe he prays more in the East Wing than in the West Wing? Or vice versa?
Still, it's an interesting question.

Many non-believers attend Christian denomination churches. That doesn't make them Christians. Some people attend churches out of family or cultural habit, to network with people important to their careers, political gain, or to present a particular image. It's not always about theology or spirituality.

The world isn't divided into just Christians and Muslims.
