IMHO, they have not learn to tolerate the different yet. We all came from different kind of life and background. We think differently , eat differently, talk differently, dress differently, deocrate house differently and so on. For instance, I think in blue and they think in red so if I say something in blue, they don't like it so attack me because they think in red.

Sweetmind, when u are thinking in blue and the ones who attack u are thinking in red. They are not ready to accept u for who u are and ur not ready to accept them for who they are. It is alike a war going on here everywhere, not just u but everyone else. It is all about who is right and who is wrong, in reality no one is right or wrong, just part of growing. We learn from the lessons and we learn to see the differently from others. New things come to us daily whether we like it or not, it is us who need to learn to not to be so scare of it and not attack it but to learn to be a courage and be calm around it.

Using discernment is great. Having benefit of the doubt is, too. I have also considered the fine line between confronting and harassing others in a message board.

The people I am the most impressed with is the ones who take others' disagreements with grace and acceptance. If there is personal shit, it can all go to hell very quickly.

Nope, I do accept EVERYBODY in here. I dont attack people in their or another people's threads, if I see something that I dont like and I would just PM them, thats all. But, I talk abt in general. WHY PEOPLE ATTACK ANOTHER PEOPLE? Not just me.

I just dont understand why they do that to another people. I wanted to hear from people's opinion, thinking, etc like that. I just dont want people or me name another people's name. Just tell each other and such like that. Thats all.

Me too, I don't like to attack anyone. I do understand why they do it but it is not easy for me to explain in plain English language.

I do understand. Same as I. I could sometime explain, couldn't sometime explain. Depends on what Situation thats all
 
People who feel threatened are these who attack.

People who are genuinely open minded and confident will not attack ...they are these who know that the world is full of diversity. Just because we may not believe doesnt mean we should attack others who have opposite views. I believe that love, compassion and respect goes a long way. There are many views I dont agree with but I respect these who speak up if they are constructive, that is.

We cant control these but we can control ourselves....that s the key. :smash:

I think it's because they choose express themselves in that manner by being so hostile. Involving other people, and being cruel. For those that do it deliberately they do it for the sheer enjoyment of seeing someone else all upset. It makes them feel better about themselves, and by the way... don't forget all the attention it brings. (A LOT).

It takes a big person to walk away. I know it's hard. But, sometimes the only way you can stop a fight is being the ONE to let it DIE. (if they choose to carry on, you can either allow it to affect you or choose to let them reveal their idiotic behaviour ( I don't have any respect for those that do this).

Yes I has to agree with you to this.

I'm pretty open mind and straightforward person and tell people why I disagree them in respectfully way. I respect their opinion. I has no problem when people disagree with me because they respect me as well. It's sad some people can't see it but take your posts as serious and think you attack/offend them... I notice that people have different POV to respond your posts. Some people play immaturity, some people like to play on you to sataify their lust, some people suspect/accuss you something what you didn't. Yes I know it's unhealthy but I has to accept the fact that we can't expect that every humans are same.

It's healthy to agree and disagree each other in respectfully way to help us to collect our experiences instead of attack each other and run to other forums with our posts...
