Pipes in Chicago are frozen, and service waiting time is excessive

When I was looking for places to rent, I always were asking if utilities are included and which were not. I prefer to pay ONE bill the rent. Lol some places are cool now including internet and comcast around here.

Now parking in the city. UGH thats one thing I hate about this city.

I have a beautiful blue bicycle that I use to ride around town, and if you live in Chicago, there's a high chance you'll spot me on it at the end of March or early April. It's a Trek G2 bicycle, and exactly the same color as Chicago blue, hence my user name, because the bicycle has a number 2 on it.

Then.
Yes, mine is like that! (Almost looks like my neighborhood. )

No always true, My 1st wife was on section 8 when I met her and she had to pay all utilities. She didnt have to pay rent (that was paid by uncle sam)
Also known as Uncle Sugar. ;)

How much do you have to pay for rent? You are so lucky that you don't have to pay electric, water and gas! They are not included in my rent. My bill is about $300 in winter time. I can't wait for weather to be warmer.

Who, me?

When you get your own place, you should apply for home energy assistance program right away. They pay for heater in winter time. You should be eligible because you are on SSI.

Oh, okay. My rent is $381/month, which is perfectly suitable. If I ever move out, there's an apartment over on Morse that has rent around $475/month, also suitable, but that would mean I'd need to lose cable and possibly my MiFi to pay that rent.

Not bad at all! The average rent for one bedroom apt is about $550 here. I thought Chicago is expensive!

The most expensive places are those by water or downtown. An average apartment around here is about $800, but this one is right next to CTA tracks, hence the cheaper prices.

Well, you live on subsidized rent so that's not same as market rent.

Without subsidies, your rent will be probably $600 per month or more.

State (Illinois) > County (Cook) > City (Chicago) > District/Neighborhood (Rogers Park)

Very good. Only problem is figuring out where I'm actually at, cause I ain't saying where, or if you REALLY wanna catch me, best chance to do that is while I'm on the move, but even that's hard to do.
