Hmm, I guess it was ok to call Bush a monkey, but to call Obama a monkey it's wrong?

yes since the liberal left-wings are always right and the conservative right-wings are always wrong, at least at the universities and in the media.
good thing the article didn't put Rev. before Sharpton. Both he and Jesse JAckson never went to divinity grad school.

you talking about breaking down species. So if I classified everyone as Human it would be wrong cause they are technically white, black, red, yellow, brown,,,,

Oh but that's racist to do that. So I just said Monkey as to not offend any of the other type of species that's related to the Chimpanzee. You know the PETA is watching out for the animal's rights!!

Well, technically, a chimpanzee is an ape. If you want a word to describe both monkeys and apes, the word would be primates.
 
But technically wouldn't Primates include human??

Dang, did we reach a common ground where it's ok to call a human "monkey" cause of the word Primates!

Just having fun with this cause people are so picky.

Problem is, the political cartoon shown in the thread is of a chimpanzee. So therefore, we cannot call it a monkey, but an ape. However, both of us can call it a primate since it includes both monkey and ape.

Besides, I'm just playing with you since people seems to be so touchy over politics. It has blown over by already. What's next?

A picture of Obama dressed up as a Muslim doing the fist-fist with a terrorist?

Oh wait, they already did that.

If you are literally talking about monkeys or apes, other way we call them is non-human primates.

We all know that humans is the last cateory in the primates family, so when the term primate comes to mind, it would usually be thought of a monkey or an ape.

Humans are often thought of as people, person, etc... u get the rest.

It's not a cartoon of Obama. It's a cartoon of two uniformed white policemen refering to the prone body of a chimp that they shot to death.

Reba is right in a way but has omitted some things from the political cartoon.

It is two white uniform police officers that shot and killed a black chimpanzee with 3 bullets with the one white police officer saying, "They'll have to find someone else to write the next stimulus bill."

If you are going to be describing a political cartoon, one must describe it in it's entirety.
