don't see anything relating to illegal immigration. however - in that link, it is legal in that narrow scope of law.

but illegal when applicable to illegals?

Its illegal when applicable to lawbreakers, but also illegal when applicable to law breakers?

let me ask you this - a gun exchange program which is just like an "amnesty" program. It's where you surrender your guns (legal or illegal) in exchange of gift card, toy, money, etc.

Would you believe it is illegal for police use this "gun exchange program" as a trick to arrest those with illegal guns?

I am assuming you are asking my opinion.

If I am legal, turn in a legal gun, and am arrested, then yes. Its illegal. If I am legal, turn in an illegal gun (unknowingly) and am arrested, its questionable.

If I am illegal, turn in an illegal gun, and am arrested, then no, in my **opinion** this should not be illegal.

If I am illegal, turn in an illegal gun, and am NOT arrested .... someone needs to enforce the law.

Do we still live in a free market society?

Oh ... wait .... your one of those who believes capitalism is evil and socialism is the answer ....

free market society? I hope so. The way these capitalists keep abusing and cheating... blame them for increasing federal regulation on our free market society.

All established societies with government in the last two or three centuries are "free market" and "capitalist" to a degree anyway. So, moot point anyway.

Want to be anti-capitalist? Start re-using, recycling, repair, and grow your own stuff.

How would you feel if she was your President, and decided to leave for bigger money as a movie star? That is similar to what happened in Alaska.
Again with the assumptions. Zzzzzz. And it is YOU'RE, not YOUR, get it?

For the clueless one....

“Having traveled into Mexico last year to various cities on the Baja Peninsula, a distance of more than 1,000 miles round-trip, we were stopped more than 20 times at various checkpoints. At most of those stops, we were told to exit the vehicle and we were subjected to rigorous inspections. Where does Mexican President Felipe Calderón get off with his hypocritical outrage at our Senate Bill 1070?”
Hypocrisy of Mexico's president

And we are being attacked from within, too.

Secure the border!

Charles Krauthammer:

“You can’t have it both ways. Particularly coming from Mexico, a country where if you enter illegally it’s a felony and you get up to two years in prison. And if you do it a second time, you get 10 years… So he’s got a country which is extremely strict–draconian, if you like–about illegals entering into Mexico. And he’s lecturing us on our laws here where it isn’t a felony, it’s only a misdemeanor. And then, even worse I think, is to see our president refusing to stand up for his own country, joining in the attack on Arizona.”

"The reason for that law isn't the absence of amnesty, it's the absence of securing the border. And it's the dereliction of the federal government, which is at fault, and the president isn't lifting a finger to do anything about it."

Sad.

better write letter to your party to work on federal immigration law. the other side is waiting.

Yeah.....Just like they were waiting to discuss the Health Care bill:roll:

How does securing the border prevent attacks from within?:cool2:

We are being too nice...

its like the saying 'Never bite the hand that feeds you'

Well our hands are getting bitten, what do you do?

Throw the ones that bite out, lock the door, and never let them back in.

They can't expect a willing answer from the Repubs. after ridiculing, blasting, pointing fingers, snubbing and ignoring them in the first place.

POTUS did that, so did the Dems. never realizing that when you point at someone, there is three that point right back at them.

It goes both ways.

Massachusetts proceeded on its own. So can your state and my state. I'm glad mine didn't :cool2:

you do know that the Republicans did same thing ("No. No. No.") during Bush Administration? They rejected President Bush's immigration plan - the very similar plan that Obama is using... and yet... they're throwing their support for Arizona but not federal immigration reform?

I am confused... deeply confused..

Okay...

Before the Health Care bill was passed, the repubs were treated to verbal bashing, finger pointing, and whatever else tactics were used.

Did the Repubs not object to the bill? Did the Dems listen? Did President Obama listen? From the majority of accounts through articles, blogs, polls and whatever else, it looked like they were ignored.

Then Obama asks the repubs to step forward and provide the 60 votes he needs to pass the Immigration Bill, which borderlines begging.

Because the Repubs are mad, they have this mentality 'Why should we after the way were were treated?'

This Federal Immigration Reform bill, is it the same as the Arizona Bill?

Do you happen to have a link to let me look at concerning the Immigration Reform bill President Bush made and Obama's as well? I'd like to look at them if you don't mind?
