actually, we should not be blaming anyone.. but anyway to rest of your statement really make me laugh, If it happens to me.. and the external part is broken, no worries, I still can talk and read lips. even write.. and can have the replacement part fedex'ed immediately overnight. *shrug*

If CI industry knew that someone will be screwed if such thing like this happens then they won't be around in first place. **shrug**

Just like hearing aid, you trip and your HA hit the ground and shattered into pieces then what do you do? same thing "screwed" like you said above.. **shrug**

same thing applies to eyeglass for those who need and require daily and 24 hrs to see and even to those blind folks when their cane breaks.. hmm..

and even to those hearing folks who happens to be in blast zone that rupurted their middle ear and became blind due to flash from the blast. they are screwed.

NOw quit using this such tin-foil what if statement! **shrug**

Now remember, there are everyday risks of all kinds hmm!

I'm not sure why this concept is soooo difficult for people to grasp. Life itself is a risk. :whistle:

I guess they have to grasp at the straws...

Any excuse NOT to have to give CI a realistic view is taken immediately.
If anyone explains anything, a new concern is thought off....

What was the last one I heared.... Sweetminds "Doctors ethics" excuse...
