I feel sick just looking at it.

I've been eating Chips ahoy and milk duds/ junior mints lately because good, unprocessed food like fruit costs a small fortune and I never could keep myself from eating it when I get a craving for foods like that. I'm weak, I know.

I won't argue that it doesn't cost more. However, you actually eat less because you don't crave it. It balances out.

I only eat one meal a day, but I do end that meal with processed junk food and I just can't stop, I get the craving and since my bank balance dictates the price range of what I can purchase, pretty much processed crap is the only thing in my range.

I wish I could quit eating bad processed foods, but between finances and cravings for it, I really can't. I tried to apply for SNAP online so I could afford fruit, but I got so confused on the site, so I gave up. I'm living in my parent's attic, so I'm not sure I can get food stamps while living with them, even though financially they are far worse than I am.

But I'd love to give up processed junk like I gave soda up years ago, but soda for me was different, I just felt sick whenever I drank it and it didn't taste good to me anymore, so I just drink bottled water out of gallon jugs.

Reminds me of something Wendy O. Williams once said to Mrs. Fields of Mrs. Fields cookies, she told her that she was no better than a heroin pusher because of all the processed white sugar she put in her cookies, making them highly addictive and then Mrs. Fields cried or at least pretended to.

When you don't have much money and you want something as a treat, people, including myself turn to these inexpensive foods that are really bad for you. I wish I could buy fruit, but that stuff is so expensive and I don't always feel like eating fruit and I'm bad at finding healthy alternatives.

A banana is cheaper than a candy bar, like by half. One banana would be around 30 cents. A prepackaged salad is less than a package of chips ahoy cookies. excuses excuses

coffee tea coca cola...for god sake do experiments curing cancer time and money better spent

I don't know why, but banannas give me a gag reflex when I eat them. Who eats a salad for dessert?

I love putting the peanut butter on the banana. try it? sometimes i mixed peanut butter with honey then put it on banana. Yummy!

avocoda mixed with pomegrante (along with flavored etc such as onion, salt, garlic or plain or anything ) in the dip with pita. Yummy.

You can buy a bay of apples or oranges for about $3.00 And baked apples are good if you like raisins you put some the hole after cutting the core out. Eating junk food is bad for your teeth and going the dentist cost $$$. So you'll save money in the long run eating healthier .
