And a gun is a tool. 99% of guns in this country are used for sport and hunting. I harvest a deer with my rifle like someone harvests hay with a scythe.
 
But I think the point is that it's semantics. If someone kills someone else it matter not a bit what the name of the instrument was.
 
merriam-webster definition 2 is "a means of contending against another" In other words what ever you use against your foe is a weapon, even if it's a hammer.

FYI - military guns are illegal to obtain for civilian purpose. these are automatic weapons... already illegal in America for decades.

it did not expire. it was not renewed because such law makes no sense.

automatic weapon = already illegal for decades. I don't need 10 rounds to kill a person. only 1 will do :)

Smh. U talking about what u do in action. It not tell u what kind of instrument. Maybe u skipped definition #1 it might tell u it's handy tool.

I know people who were buying the guns in pieces and putting them together during the ban and these were what you would probably deem to be good guys.

and.... automatic weapons (military weapons) are illegal and not sold at store and it has been that way for decades.

I'm much more concerned about cop shooting than school shooting. nowadays... a civilian is much more likely to get shot by cop than a thug.

No, one of them hasn't even been shot that I am aware of, the last time I saw the guns was years ago and they were in a display case in one of the guys basement. At the time I wouldn't have known who to turn them into and I haven't seen them in years as I said and don't even know if they still lives in the area. The other guy I knew died over twenty years ago from Heart failure due to extreme weight loss and I have no idea where his guns went. I do know that my friend who let him live at his house, had to ask him to leave when he started bringing hand grenades into the house. After I saw what they had, I just steered clear of them.

I'm concerned with both,and the drive buys too!
 
If he was doing it illegaly then he is not a "good guy" and I don't just let go illegal activity. If you knew about it and let it happen you are just as responsible for that illegal gun. Seems like you know a lot of criminals and potential murderers seb. Or do you just see it that way. You know durring the ban it was perfectly legal to assemble a gun from parts manufactured before the ban. Many people did.
