okay ad'ers. ask me anything (but be nice! :))

:hmm: I wasn't using game language. I was trying to use common every-day real life language to define "resto" and "mana"

perhaps i wasn't clear in my last post. what i meant was that the terms "resto" and "mana" seemed like a foreign language to me.

Maybe thats why i stink at video games... I have only tried the newer ones.

I played a video game once (and keep in mind this is sighted and all) and I realized my talent for videos games is just, well, non-existent.

Maybe we can start a club. <wink>

Thanks for telling us about your boyfriend, Hear Again. He sounds like a pretty cool guy. I'm also happy for you that you're moving to Arizona this summer! Is your boyfriend also a hot weather kind of person?

I'm more of offensive type. I have hunter, pally, and mage. Those are my favorites. My pally was arguably the best team support for PvP in my server. My hunter does cause quite a damage. but..... I quit WoW last year and I'm glad I did.

I still love the glory of PvP & arena though

yes, he is. he can't stand the cold weather or snow. in fact, he hates it as much as i do. <giggle>

 Hear Again
I can't stand extreme temperatures now ;)

i don't mind extreme heat. what i don't like is extreme cold. if truth be told, i don't like it when temperatures fall below 35 degrees. i'd gladly take 120 degree heat instead.

I quit last year also, and I'm also glad I did. However, I started again when Lich came out. My psychology teacher told me that she thought I was making far too many changes in my life at a time when I should only change the things I have to change. So since I didn't want any old ghosts recognising me, and since there were so many changes in the game during the year I was gone and I figured I needed to re-learn how to play, I started from the beginning. My main used to be a hunter since the dawn of WoW, and I had a 70 priest and druid (both healers) also. But now I focus entirely on a new Warlock. Besides, my life has gotten far to busy and complicated to invest the time needed to work on more than one character. But I still remember all the music, and the sounds of Zangarmarsh, which was my home! I know that's weird, but I find it such a relaxing place. I can almost smell the mist and vegetation.

Oh, speaking of music, Hear Again! Do you enjoy orchestral music with your CIs? Are there any types of it that have lost quality? One more question that's sort of still on that note (if you understand my motives for wanting these answers, hehe), do you feel CIs require less or more maintenance that you have to perform? For example, each day when I get up, I have to clean my HAs before I put them in. It only takes a minute, but I wish it were as simple as putting on my slippers.

i love orchestral music -- although i never used to prior to receiving my ci's because it always sounded like a confusing blur of noise. now that i have ci's, i'm able to clearly hear each instrument being played alone or in unison. i especially love listening to soft orchestral music at the end of a long, stressful day since it is so relaxing.

no, i don't think my ci's require any more maintenance than my hearing aids did. i always keep my ci's in a dry and store machine so that they are sanitized every night. sometimes there are instances (especially on the weekend) where i don't feel like wearing my ci's. instead, i like to relax in complete silence for about an hour before putting them on.

Do you smoke ? (not to bother you, but because I feel that I have to care about your health. You don't have to answer this question if you don't feel like it).

no, i don't because i'm allergic and get severe migraines from cigarette smoke. cigarette smoke also causes me to have bad coughing spells.

oh, i'm sorry about that. :( i'll try to be more aware the next time i read your posts. i don't mean to ignore you intentionally.

No. no,no it's not like that Hear Again. I have post alot recently from time to time and Jake is the one who mostly relied some of my post since of my sense of humor or maybe he hates me. :D
