Have you ever read Blind Courage? I found it in the bargain bin at the library. It's starting out really good. It's about a blind man who hikes the Appalachian trail from Georgia to Maine with his guide dog, Orient. I've just read the first chapter, I'm liking it very much. It happens to be signed by the author in the front as well included a lifesize stamp print of his dog's foot as a signature! I adored that. What I would have loved even more had it been a textural stamp.

i've heard of that book before, but have never read it. it sounds like an interesting read! i'm definitely going to check it out! :)
