Ohio teen killed mom over Halo 3 video game

This is very sad, and I can't comprehend on why a son would do that to his parents. This is very heartbreaking for the entire family. :(

Why? Because he was selfish and went against his parents wishes in not to buy one.

Ahh the 'blame game'. What happend to take responsibility for one's actions? If you told your child not to buy one and they went against your wishes, wouldn't you confiscate it as a punishment?
 
What happened to " Honor thy mother and father " nowadays ?

In jail time, that boy will not be able to play video games. Bad decision he makes.

I wouldn't blame them. Since they already said NO and he's ONLY 16 years old, that game is for above from 17 years old only. He just ingored them and went ahead to buying it, then they took it and he end up killed his OWN mother and hurt his own father. I think it's very wrong of him doing that.
 
Reminds me of the Xbox/Denton Mass murders in FL. Very sad and tragic.
 
Sadly teens today think nothing of their parents and their parents lives when NO is given as an answer. Sometimes NO is the right answer and it is best for the kid...remember, GUNS DON'T KILL PEOPLE...PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE.
