"Official" Alldeaf national meet #3 2010/2011 discussion and planning

It was not cold than NYC in the Northwest.....it is very similar to what I am having right now, as it is winter here. It is not too shabby and you wouldn't have to get frozen fingers in NYC!

isn't it during December? that's holiday season.

That impacts me that I have never been to Chicago or the midwest...

What does never having been to Chicago have to do with this? When people say something in the way you just did, it means they (and you) WANT to go to Chicago or the midwest. Your, "what about me" is indicative of you wanting this meet-up in the West so you just need to hope the vote comes down that way, that's all.

Yeah, I know - but the weather in the Northwest and west is more warmer than the east, right?

well - you'll have to try for warmer season to meet us!

Does Hawaii and Puerto Rico count? Let's chill at the beach.

How about Florida then? Or the outer banks of NC? LakeTahoe can attest that its nice out there at the beach.

Haven't you had enough heat recently to last a lifetime?

 few months in and I've had enough of this heat! I think I've started becoming less tolerant of hot weather since I started riding *thud*

Now, that I can understand, Jiro....

I wasn't being too serious on Hawaii.

But I did think a cool beach breeze and some outdoor patio setting would be perfect somewhere. That way some of us would not have to wear heaps of clothing as you would during snow season.

One of the biggest problems is that I think if it's too far to drive or train for NY members, a lot of them are going to pass on a flight somewhere. :dunno: just get that feeling.

Looking at this from a realistic perspective, at most a 500-600 mile radius for all our locations to meet up seems the max for those willing to drive/commute.

I usually don't go more that six miles from where I live.

Sadly I am not kidding, but I doubt anyone is going to humor me that much. :(

Yup thats what I was thinking, Chicago for me would probably be passed on. Too far to drive. The beach would be nice though. I've heard Virginia Beach is nice.

I'd be glad if you can change your vacation plan to warmer season :aw:
Sorry Jiro, I have a reason to go to U.S throughout the new years and early january, you need to toughen up and be a man in winter, si? :aw:

Jake will if you make it in the middle of winter and buy his plane tickets.
