Obama's address

Aaahh I'm guilty of doing same.

I hope that Obama is successful in doing what he says he wants.. however there are too many people involved that I think it'll just get bogged down like always.

Remember that the children born from illegals are officially American citizens whether you like it or not.

Secondly--if you have kids--we are insuring their health and resources for their education.

Third--I like your opinions on occasian....however I would advise a little more compassion towards children. :) Again--they are our greatest resource. :cool2:

The kids I care about, but it's the parents that really profiting from all of this.

You really think parents that has 3-5 kids living off welfare and only work just enough to claim for taxes, so they can get the big tax rebates on all of those kids, really care about the kids?? All the while the kids are living off "wish" sandwiches and kool-aid.

Which is why i targeted illegals and people with "cash crops" as some calls them.

I got a so called cousin that has 3 kids, she could care less about them. She currently have the oldest living with my parents cause she can't get along with her 6 yrs old child and my mother and Dad cares more about that kid then the real "mother" would ever in her life. I watch her hit these kids, restrain them, cuss them out and yet CPS says "Oh she is a good mother"

All the while when taxes comes around she gets that big rebate check cause she worked at sonic long enough to get in a bracket and get the rebates. She blows it on stuff for herself and gets food stamps to buy steaks and stuff for herself and gets the kids bare minimum. If it wasn't for my grandmother she wouldn't have a place to live.

This isn't isolated to my one cousin, this is a common scenario that people do not want to see and it's fueled by America giving handouts to these "parents"

I say get rid of the social programs such as welfare and you will see a decrease in this mess!!!

I don't think anybody profits from that type of situation. It is an act of desperation and really the children should not be left in that environment.

It's very common, but people don't want to open their eyes to the reality.

There are exceptions, but they are so few and far between.

I missed Obama's speech (I only caught the last 15 minutes of it), but I plan to watch it tomorrow on YouTube.

Well I was pretty active on this site back in October and November, but I got busy cause i was graduating, hunting for a job, and moving to Houston all during December and early January.

I currently work for a big company and I am learning a lot about my job. There's a lot of reading and working with the guys in the shop involved to learn about these tools I am dealing with in my Investigations. I am a Mechanical Reliability Engineer at my new job but we deal with everything from Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and so on.

I came back on here last night cause I was bored and figured I would see if anyone was talking about commons stuff I liked and I ended up back in the politics thread.:roll: But non the less I was hoping to see pics from babyblue on her husband's Mustang and since they wasn't there I figured i would comment on Obama's speech but it got side track like any thread does.

Does any of Obama "services" are out to help the Deaf's?

From some of the threads it seem a lot of folks here are in desperate need of hearing aids but there are no financial help for them. Is Obama planning on taking care of this? Is this part of Obama's Health plan he spoke of??
