Guess you haven't heard that Pelosi doesn't want to cooperate, either. Neither does Reid. And how ironic when Pelosi said that "Dissent is patriotric" but when concerned people (both Dems and Reps) wanted to voice their displeasure and concerns about the health care bill she calls them Nazis. Or Reid calling them "astroturfers." Or have Obama dissing the medical establishment or him calling, basically, the police force of "acting stupidly." Cooperate? Are you blind are what???? When you have the House Leader calling the American public a bunch of names, or that Maxine Waters (Dem - House of Representative) calling a bunch a Senators as "neanderthals" in a public forum about the health care bill and you're asking about the need for cooperation??

Perhaps the Democrats knew the direction or lack of the right direction the Republicans would take. Both parties have their reasons and each is stuck with his own. Nothing can surprise in politics. Are you writing the President to register specific directions and enlist cooperation. I am about that. Welcome to the White House click on contact us and do your darndest

Just wait til 2010. Analysts are saying that increasingly the Democrats look to lose a lot of seats in Congress, as much as a 100, due to the all the wrong things they've been doing upsetting a lot of people and their constituents. LOL

Secondly, you write or meet with your congress person (when many of the Democrats ducked out of their promised to attend Townhall meetings, lol) since they are the ones who draft bills and get them passed (or not). You voice your displeasure or concerns to them FIRST. Not the president. That's the very last thing you do if an unpopular bill does get through for his signature.

Learn how the system works first.

That's your wishes, losing 100 seats aren't going happen, probably less than 50 seats like just happened to 1994.

We are still in sight of economy recovery that give a good reputation to democrats.

If public insurance don't pass so they will move on and do other thing, just their job to do.

The Democrats may lose some seats but I doubt they'll lose 100 seats over this.

but they are not always around to hear concerns and I cannot be there for every issue at least, I have a voice at any time on any issue, since I do have a computer armed and ready and yes, the next election will show just how much the Democrats have or have not accomplished That's the way the system is meant to work.

Yes, they will move on, but whether the election will vote them in depends on how badly the electorate wanted their issues to pass. If all is just a matter of course and not really the matter, do you really care who is elected or not?

Of course, depends on their job and many blue dog democrats are very careful when come with vote from conservative Americans in their area.

most likely just the lighting in the room. the shadows of the chair and Obama are very dark, so there had to be a lot of light in there..

I was remembering the O.J. Simpson picture in Time magazine, I believe; his skin color was very dark.

Read .....carefully....

It's the mainstream media (ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, NYTimes, WaPo, Newsweek, Time (guess how many times he was on the front cover of time in a year?) etc) who painted him as the "messiah." Not Obama himself. He let his lackeys do the adoring and adulation.

I think that's because it may be a wax figure of President Obama. I've seen enough wax figures in my life to make a guess that it's a wax figure.
