Obama supporters?

9/11 was unpreventable. It was coming. Either gore or bush, it would have came on its own. This problem has been on-going since 1970's or if not earlier.

Osama Bin laden have had been around since a long time. So it does not matter. Planning for a long time and well executed plan. It shook us up.

Clinton, Gore, Bush, who ever in power would only can impact within their term and on. Hard to clean up the past history.

In fact, I don't have sources for this. My understanding during Clinton's time... they successfully capture Osama Bin laden and had to ask Clinton permission what to do with him. Clinton decided to let him go. Can someone verify this information about Osama and Clinton administration.

Again... was it Clinton's fault that he let Osama go or its Bush's fault for not preventing 9/11? Both are involved with Osama Bin Laden.

I feel that 9/11 was an important factor in our life. It woke us up and begin taking actions again. Same with Pearl Harbor, it woke us up and we topple Germany and Japan within 4 years of declare war upon both. If Japan did not attack Pearl Harbor at the right time, USA will struggle invading Germany since United Kingdom were on thin defense. If Germany did not change their attempts to Russian, Germans will have successfully invaded UK completely. That is a key Island for us.

9/11 caused us to take action. Saddam Hussein took a fall for different reason. Now it woke up America and realized we have more enemy than we realized.

Sad that we are not following George Washington's infamous speech before he completed his presidency term. 4 points on his speech... check it out if you can find it.

Don't forget that the first attack on the WTC came on Clinton's watch.

Sounds like the Republicans for the past 8 years. :giggle:
Nah; just typical political speech. They ALL do it.

I fear the day of the great orators in America have long gone. Once in a while we see a snippet of great speech stand out but most of it is political blah, blah and hype, from all sides.

It wouldn't take "badgering" if Obama would just give an immediate, straight-forward answer.

Hmm, kind of like Palin when asked about the war? "I don't pay attention to the war much." Or McCain's dodging a direct answer when asked to clarify his position on Roe v Wade?

I just heard that Biden said at town hall meeting that he and Obama could pursue criminal charges against Bush Administration. TRUE OR NOT?

"We will not be stopped from pursuing any criminal offence that's occurred"

That is true that he said it. Even though I am a die hard Democrat, I think it is just rhetoric that won't go anywhere after the election.

But it can appeal to angry citizens who are tired of the present regime.

Perhaps they are talking about Palin's charges of abuse of power, as well.:hmm:

I'd love to see Karl Rove spend the rest of his life in Federal Pound-Me-In-The-Ass Prison with absolutely NO conjugal visits!

I recall that Obama's quote "I have always been against Iraq."

But, he wasn't in office to vote against it and he only vote to fund it every single time, unlike Kucinich who seem to be out gutting on Obama. He also seem to be stepping back from his departure date.

I will give up my gun rights and bunch others if Obama can guarantee that. :mad2:

Wow!:jaw: I never thought I'd see that!

yea that's how much hate I have for Bush Administration. They are Domestic Dissents, donchaknow? I have never seen such blatant negligence by public servants and I thought what Richard Nixon, J. Edgar Hoover, and Joe McCarthy did went too far. I don't think anything in the history and even in future will ever top this.

To Bush Administration - YOU DOMESTIC DISSENTS! :mad2:

**nodding** I think that administration can be added to the "Worst of the Worst" list.

The Washington Post is rabidly conservative. Not a good source for information, especially on Democrats.

When I watched "Real Time with Bill Mayer" last night, they were pointing out that at the RNC, Bush memoralia were the least popular items. I wonder if those who voted for him 4 years ago regret it?

I saw the same show.

If they have any sense they regret it!:giggle:
