Yes. I have an uncle who was experimented on during the Holocaust. They're still there on the other side of the ocean.

Point is, we're suppose to be past that. Israel is our SUPPOSE to be our ally, but yet their human rights record say they're not up to par with the rest of us yet.

And by the way... I have shunned my own relatives (mostly pacifist Christians) and other deafies before for the things they have done. :) Won't be new for me to shun the Israeli government. So not sure why you ask if I got Israeli relatives.

You certainly wouldn't be the first. I will continue to support our allies and will not dictate to them to which degree they should defend themselves.

I would, however, be more concerned with the human rights violations the arabs inflict upon their own people.

Why do you keep deflecting?


Saudi Arabia got nothing to do with Israel.

This stance by Obama got NOTHING to do with Israel's defense policy.

This is PURELY about the poor human rights record WITHIN Israel. Not about any other nations.

but ... but .. Israel allows their women to drive. They also do not perform forced castration on females based on a religious order.

The Israelis get bombed daily by Muslim extremists but are expected to treat the same Muslim extremists in accordance to what Obama wants to see (Obama is Muslim).

Why don't the Israelis just treat the Muslim/Arabs the same way the Muslim/Arabs treat their own people?

If they catch a Muslim thief, they can just chop off his/her hands. If they catch a Muslim drug dealer, they can just stone him/her to death and give an Israeli drug dealer prison time.

If the Israelis treated the Muslim/Arabs the same exact way that Muslim/Arabs treated their very own people, would this then be human rights violations? :hmm:

Only jewish extremists claim Obama is a muslim and everyone that critize Knesset is an anti-semite. You don't accidentally happen to be one?

No one said Saudis are respecting human rights here, and Israel gets no where by claiming this and that sourrounding country is worse and should be punished harder than Israel.

The difference between Saudi and Israel, is that Israel are depedent on military aid from US. Saudi is not. This is expensive, and US is paying the bill when Israel do stupid things. Unfortunately, Israel is bent on continuing doing stupid things. I really have no answers on this, becaus the whole region is tense with unsolved conflicts, between Hamas and Fatah, Sunnis and Shi'tes, european jews and arab jews, orthodox jews in jerusalem and secular jews in tel aviv, Israeli muslims and settlers, goverments and bedouins, wahabist and non-wahabist, and so on. Really loong list.

I am just saying its ironic that Obama will preach to the Israelis about human rights issues and not the saudis ....

Yeah, that's striking. Definately looks like it's the oil.

But it's hillarous if Israel try to use that as an excuse to bully palestine and refuse to do as US ask Israel to do. Israel should grow up, and stopping pointing fingers at what other people are allowed to do, like teenagers complaining to their parents, IMO. Then again, easier said than done.
 
Pretty easy to say those things when one isn't an Israeli living in Israel trying to survive and ensure that their country doesn't go down in flames while bordered on all sides Islamic countries at the same time. Kind of like going to prison and as a matter of survival you learn to stand your ground rather than be perceived as weak, if so you're basically dead meat in a sense.

"Surviving" in Tel Aviv is vast different from surviving in Gaza. By the way, the goverment in West Bank, Lebanon and Egypt is secular, not "Islamic". Israel is ruled by a religious goverment.
