Now, limiting flu shots to 65 and older?

or let people decide for themselves. Fear already kept people from taking it so there should be plenty for people who do want to take it. I never understood the purpose of mandatory.

But there ISN'T enough. There's critical shortages for the groups that desperately need the vaccine: healthcare workers and younger people with chronic illnesses. Giving it out to the LOWEST risk group, people over 65, would be stupid and would effectively be killing the people who really need the vaccine.

There isn't enough parking spots either, but first come, first serve, but handicapped and employees have their spots reserved.

People's lives are not parking lot spots. But even if they were, you made my point: some people take PRIORITY, like employees and disabled people. Or, in the case of the novel h1n1 vaccine, young people with a chronic illness, pregnant women, and healthcare workers, since they are at the greatest risk of contracting, spreading, and DYING FROM or killing other people with novel h1n1.

If there's no regular spots left in a parking lot, you can't just take a disabled spot because there's no free regular spots: it's not yours.

no it means that some people are not as worry as much about getting the shots. Those who do will show up soon as possible. And they probably have very good reason to worry.
