What is so idiotic about it? I have heard of people with ZERO pilot training fly and land a plane with voice instructions. It is rare, but it happens.

how do you prepare and practice a commercial jetliner before WTC? Did they have mock-up building to crash into or something?

There's a huge difference in what's required to crash a plane into a large building, and learning to safely take off, fly, and land a plane under all kinds of conditions, which is what a commercial pilot needs to learn.

I don't know how many more times I need to say that.

like I said - when you attend a flight school, you have to go from step 1 to step 10. You don't get to skip ahead or they will kick you out.

The biggest question is how were they able to locate Pentagon and WTC from hundreds of miles away at over 25,000 feet?

Maybe the classes aren't as accessible to the general public in other countries.

Maybe the American classes wouldn't be under as much scrutiny.

Maybe they wanted to stay closer to their ultimate target areas.

I don't know anything about flying classes overseas. Do you?

No I do not know but I know enough that this reeks of government's backing. I'm looking at one of Middle Eastern country in conjunction with the Chinese government.

I cannot say that conspiracy is impossible. I just find it difficult to believe.

I was unable to find a story on non-pilots landing aircraft, but I know it has happened in real life. I did not bother to read the FBI's 9/11 report either. Just am not in the mood to search, only to have more speculation offered in return.

All they had to know how to do was steer a plane already airborne. They could skip the landing lessons, the takeoff lessons, the radio lessons, the courtesy lessons. Not to say it was easy, but these were intelligent people carefully selected for this role. They only had one shot. They wanted to get it right. And what about the crater in PA? Did government give them inside info that there was an infidel horse grazing out in the fields?

the crash in PA was the result of heroic passengers sacrificing their lives to prevent terrorists from achieving their plot. They knew very well that it means death. I salute to them.

Those passengers had no practice. They did not plan to fly. Besides, they were probably involved in a fight to the death with terrorists. Ever try to drive with a bunch of guys trying to slit your throat?
