It doesn't say that Clinton was involved. It says that the Justice Department and 20 other state governments were involved.

I’m really worried about this. That damned Thaipooramadamadingdong II made it almost 60 feet before it fell into the ocean! :Ohno: What’s next? The next launch might make it a couple of miles or more! In a few years they might perfect the technology and make it almost all the way to Japan! Then we really better start worrying. I mean, give it another 25 or 30 years and the damn things might be capable of reaching Honolulu. I might have to pack my bags, leave California, and move in with Vampy.

That is... if we're alive in 30 or 40 years. ;)

Er...I wouldn't get worked up about what we can't control. Literally anywhere in the world isn't safe anymore from a missile, bomb, biological or chemical weapon of some sort. Somebody somewhere has the means to do something stupid like this right now. So, moving isn't the answer your problem. As far as NK goes, as their missiles get better, doesn't our missile defense system get better too? Sort of goes hand in hand and when they get a serious missile going, we can either stop it or obliterate them easily so that it gets everybody's attention. We aren't the only ones worried about the NK idiots...there is the Japanese (there is much bitterness between the two over WWII), South Koreans, and others like the Chinese who have a vested interested in keeping things cool (they certainly don't care for nincompoops for neighbors any better than anybody else).

I do disagree with some of the things that Bush has done as well and would like to have seen some things done differently. At least he is doing SOMETHING. Before Bush, we had terrorist attacks against this nation and nothing was ever done about it. I would have commended Clinton (and would have become a fan of his and possibly changed parties) had he actually done something about the terrorism problem much earlier..such as getting Osama when he had the chance but again stuck his head in the sand...just as he did with Saddam Hussein. It is proven that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction and used them against his own people. Clinton's attitude was "if it doesn't happen on US soil, then it doesn't concern us".

The analogy I use is if somebody were breaking into my house, I'm glad I don't have Clinton as a neighbor. He would happily close his blinds and say "as long as its not my house, I don't care". Bush, on the other hand, would have called 911 and came to assist me with guns blazing. North Korea was a problem during Clinton's era and he happily closed his blinds and said "not my problem". Bush is absolutely correct that North Korea belongs in the Axis of Evil...and he sees it for what its worth.

Yup! :thumb:

That's how I feel as well.

Good analogy, too, btw! :)

Bush wants the world to take action first. If they cant the US will step in.

I saw the documentary a few months ago about people escaping NK into China and SK. Many are starving right up to this day because NK does not get enough oil to make fertilizer to grow enough food for its population. Farming the old fashioned way required human labor which is slow and can only be done on so many acres while it is much easier to farm with machines which can cover alot of acres in one day. Also NK govt confiscated majority of food imported from UN for its military troops and let a few trucks of food to be given to the desperate people. :(

Also foreigners are allowed to visit NK on guided tours but NO americans are allowed. I saw photos posted on internet by the people who visited NK. Its hard to imagine life with almost no cars :)

I Just saw Ann Coulter on Fox News also Blaming Bill Clinton for the crises. She said Bill Clinton said "" BE NICE TO KIM JUNG"" Thats How Liberals think.Rush Limbaugh Said it and Ann Coulter said it today. It Really shows how the liberal democratic party is.I think now the North Korea Crises really puts a nail in the coffin in the DNC ever taking back the house or in the senate. If Democrats wanna win the white house in 2008 they better change their ways and cooperate with George W Bush and work with him instead of shouting theres no WMDs in IRAQ.

Oh, I think the Dems will win the 2008 presidential race, and they won't need to kowtow to Republican interests to do so.

Either way democrats or republican wins presidency 2008 as long as Bush leaves the office. He is too busy playing war to pay much attention to domestic issues such as national debt, energy issues, social issues, etc. He is also busy giving the goodies away to corporate companies and cut the taxes for the rich folks, slashing the federal funds for schools, etc....not alot of good things to say about him. :ugh2:

Thanks to liberals north korea is a problem today
