Thank you for explaining it but still not sure that I understand....only 1 person complained about it and said they felt it was racist....but nobody else on the board found it offensive enough to complain about it and have a discussion such as these 20 threads that have been started about it ?

Person A: I find the afro offensive
Person B: Its been removed
Person C: I find nudity and sexual comments in public offensive
Person D: Too bad...stop causing problems....and you can shut the hell up Person C...you have no right to complain.

BTW, of all the polls I've seen, it appears a majority of the people want to keep things the way they are, offensive or not. Its probably getting close to the time this whole thing has worn everyone out. If Alex feels that majority rules and he doesn't have a problem with it, then its probably time to end it.

Eve (and others), its probably time to accept that a majority here do not agree with having them removed and accept that an effort was made to do what you feel was right.

I don't know how the mods will finally rule on this, but perhaps it should be on a case by case basis. If somebody has an issue, bring it to a mods attention instead of a 20 page thread bashing back and forth. If the mods feel it doesn't reflect the image of AD, then the mods can make the decision to take it down. If the mods don't have a problem with it, then let it stay and somebody will have to go home with their head down slightly offended. If they are too offended that they cannot enjoy AD anymore then it might be time to move on.

I have no problem with GA posting her humor, I just feel it is more appropriately placed in the PENISARIUM so that those of us who don’t wish to be exposed to that sort of “humor” can avoid it if we want.

And you see how everyone got along so well in the poll of dirty smileys compare here? Let me tell you why, First those member judge us as being a mother, judge us that we don't care about the children, the poll was not being fair, Compare Diehardbiker's thread to Eve's thread, There is more bashing here than Diehardbiker's thread. Why? Because Diehardbiker create his poll and thread to be fair to everyone, not the person who create the thread alone. Eve create this thread to hurt members here by complain to the moderators about our avatars and signatures, when the poll isn't even over yet. Nobody complain during the time the thread was create for the dirty smiles, to remove the dirty smiles that were shown in public by other members. Why does this have to be so difficult? Yet, Alex hasn't made his call on this matter, and still you guys complain about our avatars and signature and running to moderators about it? It's sounds like it's all about "you". When it's Alex's forum he is the ONLY one that makes the final call.

Yea, it is wise to listen up to old timer... That is why many companies prefer hire experienced employees over inexperienced employees! Same concept, because experienced already knew more than inxperience all because of how long they have been there.
