yes thats what i am saying angel i decided to check and see out of curiousity.. turns out im blocked from going in alldeaf because of the sexual contents. the word PENIS is on the filter sites.. parental control sites so i cldn't get in... and i respected that and said kudos to my island for doing that... parents are on the internet surfing for information... and they cant get into alldeaf reason being kids are running around in the libary getting books and a glimpse of the site cld made a parent cringe seeing a avtar or a sig OR more so, seeing the penisuriam.... so the word PENISURAIM (sp i know i spelled that wrong) is locked out because of it . because of the word ( PENIS)

What about Roman and Greek nudity statues? Do the children allow to look them?

Of course we have 2 nudity Greek statues here in my house... It doesn´t bother my children because nudity is NATURAL...

cheri again.... pls don't put ur foot in your mouth... like eve said we mature as we grow... therefore changes are changes and we change along the way.. we got kids to think about... yes ofc like liebling said its not wrong to show them things but to make it sound like its nothing to expose the gentials and masturbation and heated behind the doors sexual legs suggesting there is sex going on. come on, pls , at the least consider the aspect of families who haven't been in here or already has been in here thier tired of seeing more and more sexual contents showing.... locking with password for penisurarium will make the parents feel better. and those who don't want to go into that section... will not have to worry abt going in and know that the kids won't be going in there either. concept wise... wheres the decorum and pride of alldeaf if your going to degrade us posters who don;t want to see those explicted crap on the avtars?

Cheri, I don’t think this is true. I simply think that our ideals change as we mature. I believe you and Angel both posted 2 years ago that you were against these sexually explicit avatars and smilies and yet now, you are in favor of them. We are not accusing you of being a hypocrite. Acutally you got it all wrong, I never ONCE complain about sexually explicit avatar, ( read my thread again you will see )it was regarding the dirty language and smiley that was posted in the public forum also about the dirty smiley.....I voted turn off/on switch never said to have it removed, check on that thread too as well.....I posted it in your very first thread, and I did said I can understand where you're coming from but I didn't say I agree with the avatar/signature images cause I don't see it as being that bad just like I don't see anything wrong with those member's avatar/signature images

Sorry, I disagree, You haven't been here in a while, Recently this year and earliest last year I've seen the same people posted sexual explicit in threads out of Penisarium forum, plus on their avatar as well.

I can't speak for others, only myself. I know I have acted poorly and not always been respectful of others, but I also know that I am maturing (comes with age ) and I have not been bashing others for their opinions, despite how much I may disagree with them. That is what I am referring to about changing minds.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, but I believe they are along the same lines. Neither of us appreciate the dirty language and smiley's being posted in public forum...I just carried it a bit further to include avatars and signatures, since they are some of the first things one notices upon entering a topic area.

greek statues is considered art therefore not banned from sites.. but think of the other concepts... u seen them all yr sigs u showed us, was perfect example of art related not the downright head bitingi and having them brag about their sex life its none of our f*king business! and seeing the cat masterbate come the hell on thats tasteless. and not only that... parents wld be turned off by that... i showed this to a family mom who is in the deaf community and she said i wldn't let my kids in here not with these avtars exposing this if they wanted to do some research and see the debates about the deaf and they can't because of the deplorable sigs and avtars. hence my saying TONE it down use art as the avtars this wont harm none... but dont expose the world to see the tits and the ass or the vagina! or the assholes! comment sense!

Liebling, I am not stupid enough to feign innocence. If you look at the context of what I said, you will see that I was referring to the fact that some members here decided to post even more offensive signatures as a way of protesting against what I am saying. When those signatures were removed by administration, they blamed ME. However, I was not the one who posted the inappropriate material in the first place, that was their choice and they are the ones to deal with the consequences for their actions.

Freewoman, you are mistaken. It was Sweetmind who jumped on me and posted old history, all I did was to say "welcome". Of course, you probably can't go back and see that now because Alex deleted it and warned us both to keep past issues out of AD. I have followed that advice, she has not.
