I'm kinda of freaked out...

I just spotted some more single gray hairs (and a few of them are a silverish gray color) around on my whole hair. I knew no one in my family have a grey hair at early age. So, it is impossible for me to have a herigate (sp), but I think it is because of my stressful actions during my work or... maybe I am too busy and overdoing actions, at the same time, I work too. I think?

Well, I started to have a few of them last May 2006 and now I have some more. I already talked to my mom and she just told me, "Hey, that's okay. It's just natural to have." :ugh3: I don't think she understood me so I did nt say anything... So, I asked a few of them to see if their families have a similar experience as mine, but I got a "no" from them. They didn't know what they would give me a good advice...

I thought maybe you guys may know about it, and let me ask you.

What would I do?

Okay, how it effect you when you were stressed? Because of work? Being single mother or something else?

Ihave a friend who had very dark hair, and shehad turned completely grey by the time she was 25. My nephew's hair was completely salt and pepper by the time he was 30. It happens to some people. It seems that people with dark hair get grey earlier, or maybe it's just because it is easier to see the grey in dark hair.

Many things can trigger stress such as working, single parents, family arugment, bills, remodeing a home, dying of a family members, and over worrying about other things that been on bother a person. I been stress by mostly bills, and being a single mother and having my house repairs and remodeling. But No regret of raising my child alone. Work does stress me out too. :cool2:

I went grey in my teenage years. Big deal.

It was a part of Waardenburg's Syndrome. Premature greying, that is.

Jill, I'm curious.

Honestly, I always stressed almost everyday... but is it not good, right?

No, I don't have a waardenburg's syndrome in my family and I don't think I have one. I really think it is because of my stressful/overdoing actions.

I am doing so many many things, like always.

No, it is not good for you be be very stressed every day. Maybe we can come up with some ideas to help you reduce your stress.

You may have a genetic predisposition to going gray. My Dad went gray in his 20s. I don't ever remember seeing his natural hair color as he went gray when I was very young.

It's really nothing to freak out about, but if it bothers you that much, you can dye your hair back to your natural color. :)

Hot bath is not really help me out but to reduce the pain only.

What is a best tip I can use?

What's predispostion? Is that premature thing or else? Sorry if it sound like stupid question. >.<

Stress will NOT cause you to go gray. That's a myth, but if you have a stressful life, there are ways to reduce your stress.

Oh ok, thanks for answering.

No I agree with Jilio that everyday stress is not good. I been stressful all my life. But sometimes we have to find a way to get away from stress and pressure. I would say bath helps, two weeks vacations, or go out somewhere, go to the beach to watch the sunset, or shopping, or be alone. Getting away is not alway easy. :)

Oh? I'm kinda of confused. I've seen a few people have their hairs changed into grey hairs while they are too busy. They told me the same thing..

Now, I'm not sure what it cause...

Chances are you just have a genetic predisposition to going gray. That means that your genes determined when you would go gray.

Some people go gray at a young age and some people don't.

Resting/napping is pretty helpful but I dont want to do it so often. :)

Yeah, a "getting away" option is pretty hard.

I'm kinda of depressing to have a grey hair early. :( :(
