Steel said:mind if you show us your collection, Pinkster?
Steel said:well it's good that you two got most great movies so it seems that you really know which one is worth to watch and which isn't and all so your cool. lol
I've never seen "sweet home alabama" but I thought it looks pretty funny...and Artificial Intelligence was weird enough all right, but somehow, it was a pretty cool movie...almost identical to Mintory Report, which was good also.
I also noticed that you two are fans of Jay and Silent Bob, aye? I think they rox!
I definetly loved "jeresy girl" which was directed by Kevin Smith aka Silent Bob...it was absloutely hiralous and I recommend you to see this one sometime...but if you did, then your super cool.
Didn't you also see "chasing amy"? I thought that one was pretty good too.
Those guys are just pure genesis and I can't wait to watch some more coming.
nice collection, by the way. keep 'em coming

Sweet Home Alabama is a girly movie, it was really cute And AI was AWESOME! I loved it enough to buy it, obviously! But.. We wld like more,, we have a list of almost 100 that we want.. and for some reason we bought a dvd burner... hehe. anyways.. Movies are fun.. Oh yeah, we also have that movie with that guy from Dawson's Creek, James something or the other, and Jessica Biel, about sex, drugs and alcohol in college.. I cant recall the name of it.. =/
because those movies can be worth a fortune someday. Movies are one of the most popular to make and to see in life, and to show how Entertainment is made and how we entertain the world, with such profits, benefits, and stuff you know? movies are worth millions of dollars to make, and let's say it's the year 2050 and you have a movie that was made in the 1980s...it would be worth a fortune...proably like $500 or more! so, pretty much about everything around you, anything can be worth a fortune someday lolDeafSCUBA98 said:Since some of you guys have over 100 dvd... i'm asking you guys.. why you collect them for?

Steel said:are you talking about this movie "rules of fatal attraction"? if that's the one, then I'm sorry to say but I didn't really like this one...it just seems abit too much, if you ask me. Even that guy, James "something" seems to be kinda crazy or something...and whenever he gets some letters from a girl, he started messing them up as he mastubrates and sniffs the perfume from the letter...we don't need to see that, you know? *shudders* that just sickens me, but if you really liked that one, then I dont blame you because I'm not much of an movie expert like my brother is...he is definetly the movie dude, and I'm more into anime and videogames so I like to watch some pretty good movies in awhile though.
you would think that its value wil go up> I kinda have a doubt in that.. Since many movies's value went down after it turns 3 or more years old. at wal-mart movies worth 2 for $11 are old movies. and yet they're popular movies too during the 90's 80's and so on.Steel said:because those movies can be worth a fortune someday. Magatsu said:DVD will be a long-term format for certain duration. Banjo, don't forget about Blu-Ray DVDs as well. Blu-Ray DVDs contains 26 GBs on one side, approx 50 gbs on both side. In other words, one entire season can be compress into ONE DVD instead of 6-7 DVDs.. woot! Blu-Ray DVD players will come out in 1-3 years.. it depends on FCC, manufacture/part costs and few factors.
Magatsu said:holy shit some of you people have quite collection on DVDs. I am not "couch potato" guy so I don't have that many and hardly watch any shows on TV. however I got only 35 Hollywood DVDs and 59 anime DVDs. I don't have the digital camera at this moment, I am going to buy a new Sony or Canon 5.0 megapixel digital camera at BestBuy soon. I plan to buy some TV serie DVDs as well like X-Files, Friends, Sliders and few.. Actually I prefer to wait for new X-Files DVDs to come out which will be more cheaper compare to first release of X-Files ($100 and higher, that which is ridiculously expensive DVDs). There will be approx $50 - $70 for second releases of X-Files seasons.
