My daughter is being bullied! Help!

Where do you think bullies learn their behaviour? form their parents that's where. No wonder going to bully parents more often than not yield no improvement.

You did the right thing going to the principal, Rebelgirl. Demand that something is to be done about the bully and consider removing your daughter to a better school if the situation persist.

Not all the kids got it from parents. The boy who bullied on me, his brother was shy, quiet and very nice boy. Just glad that his brother wasn't like him.

I am not saying 100% are.
But most times bullies come form homes where they either are themselve bullied or witness his family members being bullied.
It's enough if the father ovewpowers mother -talk her down, calls her stupid etc. Or you brother or sister bully you. It sets an example.

Usually it's like this- you go to the parents of the bully and they behave very similar way...

I'm actually gonna keep her in that school til school's over and we're hoping to move.. not because of the bully.. because of the community we live in.

I think that is very good idea..

I am not sure what you can do..I didn't read a whole posts...too many to read lol! One thing you could move one day...or put her in private school if you can afford her to go. I've been bullied by other kids most of my life...so I know how she felt! both of you. ;) I am sure other gave you a lot of good suggestions. If you need talk, you can PM for my sn for AIM. :)

I'm not sure if I really want to put her in private school.. I've heard alot of negatives about private schools. That is because I've never experience one. My little sister went to a catholic school and she didn't like it and moved to another state and into a public school.. my other sister went to a private school and hated it! I'd be too scared to put my kid into a private school.

Right now, its been really quiet.. no problems around here.. I think I may have scared the mom.. I hope I did.. it needed to stop! so things are quiet and much better.. for now

you can PM anytime you want too!

That's SUPER!!! I hope it stays that way too, I guess it shows the mother not to mess with a gal like you Rebelgirl :giggle:
