My Battle with the Norwegian Scabies....

Had a "new" doctor today...and he is really a gem!....spent over 2 hours with me...even hugged me...:giggle:...and he said, "MsRockin', anybody using Permethrin cream for 2 months...there ain't a bug or parasite on their body"!....So stop using it and "give me another hug"!....The rash is all gone..

But said I would "experience" some itching and crawling" for awhile....and said I was "welcome to his house if I wanted to clean so hard"....:giggle:

Loaded me up on meds...something to make me sleep and for anxiety...and 3 other ones...blood work tomorrow before any "skin scrapings"....

Felt so much better today, tho' my blood pressure was very low, and I've lost 18 lbs. in the past 2 months...clothes just hang on me...Well, I needed to lose a few lbs. anyway....

He said with all that cleaning everyday and vacuuming...the bugs probably said "Adios...we're outta' here!"....and go ahead and invite your friends over...even have Sex if you want to!"...:laugh2:

So, I've put my faith in him....and tomorrow I'll start unbagging everything and get my house back to where it was....It's almost like I was moving out!

Also got a prescription for depression....so it's looks like I'm good to go soon as I pick the prescriptions all up later tonight..

It was a total nightmare for 2 months....and never, ever want to go thru it again....BUT...if the doctor is wrong....oh my!...But keeping my fingers crossed it all works out great...

Thanks for all ur support!...And don't let the Scabies bite on you!

RR may I suggest you change your vacuum bag if you have not. Do it like a mile from your house. Hahaha

I really hope this is all behind you and you can get back to your happy self. You have to be totally exhausted.

If you ever want to come to California I would love a visit. And YES you could stay at my house.

Angel, I must have bought over 50 pkgs. of vacuum bags (3 to a pkg.) in the past 2 months!...Had to change the bag everytime you vacuumed....it really got so expensive! with all the cleanin g supplies and having to buy new stuff...and my clothes are a mess!...Well, I'll be going shopping soon (I hope) and get a size "9"...

Love to come visit...but heck NO...I'm not cleaning again until tomorrow...might even leave my bed unmade in the AM while I go take the blood work...and stay out for breakfast and lunch....of course my doggie will come along....

Might even "consider" Sex with the new doctor....:laugh2:...(ya know I'm kidding)...am praying it all works out and those damn bugs are GONE!...If not...then I'm leaving town and joining the Circus as "koo-koo Rockin'"
 
Sounds like things are looking better for you. Good! You deserve a break. :)

Congratz on the 18 pounds! I know anytime I lose any sort of weight I get super stoked. :D Also, glad to hear they're GONE, and you got a better doctor! I suppose the itching thing I can empathize with... Every time I see someone scratch their head around school season starting I always think of lice... BLECH! Only had them once in the 4th grade, but I can't help but get itchy every time someone brings those little beasts up! :(
