I am not sure about the Wild Rose. It's the state flower of Iowa, and we just got it last year.

I think they are supposed to bloom heavily in June , but we have quite a few blossoms now because of the warm Spring.

I will hopefully remember to take another picture in July to show what it does.

yeah. take a picture of it in june. My dad is the rose lover (garden) He took good care of roses for years. But in florida, it didn't success due to an excessive heat. :(

We have a neighbor who has had massive success growing roses here in my area. They are all over her yard and she has a memorial garden that is special roses and they are over the ashes of her 3 husbands and her son.
 
Here is a pretty old fashioned rose growing in the backyard that I photographed just now in the rain.

And the wild rose is a once a year bloomer, for those who asked. :)

Did you see pictures of different gardens, or is this all your own designs? I think more people need to have gardens like yours. A place that is beautiful and peaceful to go to. I have always wanted to make a prayer garden, in memory of my son. You have inspired me to do so. I need a new hobby and this looks like something I might enjoy. Now I need to find plants and flowers that can survive our hot summers. I hope you keep posting pictures.

It's our designs and an ever ongoing project. It is an activity we both enjoy. :)

It is very peaceful and relaxing.
 
The wild rose although a once a year bloomer naturally, has become confused by the early spring and drought.

i saw lights on dogs collor first time last week scared witts out of me seeing two little blue lights coming out of sea towards me..seen a few since...
i got north facing area to my garden so i put mirror on it and it makes garden look bigger and i get reflected sun

It is fine except for the very edge where the rain gutter is attached. That will be replaced in spring. It's too dangerous now.

It's right above the dining room window, and we almost had an accident that just missed going through the window when he was trying to remove or straighten that gutter.
 
oh wow didnt know that you had a storm I hope that you are ok.. sorry I havent been on here but have had trouble with my password and them excepting it ,or maybe its just me. cant always put the blame where the blame isnt do.. lol
