As for the people (there's only 2) who are complaining about these Muslim extremists... yeah, there are some. However, keep in mind that there are 1.57 billion Muslims and only a handful of extremists. There are Christian extremists too, but they are no better than the Muslim extremists.

I am just so glad that I live where I do, and in a place which is often called a cultural mosaic. I'm not saying that there isn't racism here too, but there seems to be a lot less of it...

Go label me as ignorant so read other my post about concern with Muslim communities, there's plenty of Americans has bad reaction with muslim people, especially after 9/11 and 9/11 was biggest time for me so it did changed my life so say ignorant isn't valid.

Also, Ft. Hood shooting has promoted me alot of concern because it happened inside US.

Wow... I can't believe this thread... Well, there is no reason to blame Muslims... :( Well, if you consider for one moment. Why do we don't have a D/deaf Muslim AD'er here? I don't like to see any one feel so uncomfortable to join here. Think about it. =/

Our mission isn't to purposely kill and target civilians but terrorists. They have a mission to kill anybody who disagree with them and purposely targets innocent people. This isn't collateral damage but the actual targeting of innocent people of all ages.

Know the difference when it comes to culture of hate. Strapping on bombs on mentally retarded people just to kill a few hundred people of their own kind isn't all about love and kindness for their fellow human beings.

Well said, KM. Speaks volumes that there are few Muslims that will join here. Nothing like seeing these type of topics to keep it that way. Look how many posters dislike Muslims, based on the insanity of a tiny portion of them?
 
This is aimed as Islamic terrorists...not Muslims per se.

Yeah... if they're continue to do it, that would make anyone feel so unwelcomed or uncomfortable to join AD. I mean, what if AD'er is a Muslim-American? Sure, I have no respect for extremists who harm and/or murder innocents. That's really low. But, to be bitterly anger toward religious people just cos extremists harm/kill innocents? No, its not their faults. Extremeists who are the ones give a bad name and wound/murder people that should to be blamed...

I never hear any of the UKers complaining about Muslims. They're complaining about the Polish! It's the GERMANS that are complaining about the Muslims. Even then, ever heard of "free market"? The halal or kosher diet isn't taking over Europe by wildfire as you are making it out to be. The restaurant owners only started catering halal to the masses not because it's mandatory or necessary, but because of market DEMAND! If you don't want to eat halal or kosher food, go to a different restaurant. Am I upset that there's no Ukrainian food here? Yeah. Easier to find vegetarian, or even ones that are dedicated to Rastafari, restaurant than it is to find a Ukrainian, let alone an authentic one but-- that's because that's because there's no demand for it. I don't understand why the halal topic came up on this thread, especially considering the places you are griping about are largely democratic and follows the free market principle.

Violence of that nature isn't justified. But do inform us when we see Christians strap on bombs to themselves and walk into market places, soccer games, get on airplanes or even at wedding events. Then I'll be equally harsh on them.

cool. have you heard of Edward Said as well? He was extremely influential in shaping Western approach toward Middle East because the Westerners (White House) were absolutely clueless about Middle East's complex history. Too bad he passed away 5 years ago.

I do understand about Muslim extremists... Kokonut, I am talked about Muslim ADers, American or non-Amercian... cos I keep seeing anyone who really so bitter about Muslims. Maybe almost each thread, if I correctly remember... but I don't know what their feeling is, and they react to those threads.

I mean, when d/Deaf Muslim come to AD and see those threads, what do you think they feel about them?

they are. ever seen their prison camps for terrorists and domestic dissents especially Yemen and Syria? It makes Gitmo Camp looks like a 4-stars Hilton Hotel.
