yes, but i noticed that abused pets are difficult to break the past or habit like my dog.. it takes ALOT of patiences.
 
does your dog Rocky barking everyday when go outside in backyard something like that ??



Here one of owner's dog barking barking barking barking barking everyday everyday it is soooo annoying to hear it and I can see the white dog got limit leash around in the backyard without food or water it is sooooo very annoying till finally someone call SPCA and finally as I think it already took the dog away from owner's dog. The nebiough (spelling) the lady told my ex boyfriend and me which so shocked us that the owner left the dog outside for one hour during the raining oh man that so mean and abuse of it but glad SPCA took the dog away from the owner whew.

after the vocal surgery.. will more biter or aggresative...

too much going on to think about.. but as long hes doing better and the neighbors are gone for vacation, have not see their dogs around lately.. I will wait 3-6 more months before final decisions if he hasnt changed.. OR getting other barking ticket from animal control..

if you buy the one that cost 150-200 you can try it out and if not working take it back.

pretty much yes, because of dogs are in the neighbors... he should be used to those dogs because they are not aggerssive or barking...

Wow... I am glad that SPCA took dog away, it wasnt right to have no food or water nearby to the dogs (or pets).. thats why the dog is barking alot everyday because in sun or thirst for water or food.. we have few bowls in different areas in backyard for Rocky since its summer..

lucky... Yeah I will buy if he continue like that for other couple more weeks... like i said.. training for few more weeks to see if it works.. if not.. then will have to buy that collar..

yeah glad SPCA took the dog away. even barking at night time about before 12 am arghhh sound like not fair for the kids are trying to get sleep before go to school in the morning. Glad no more barking for a few weeks whew. I think it took the dog away last month I think cant remember cause when I hear that there is no barking. I was said hmm ahh finally!! no more barking but dont know when did SPCA took the dog away. it was my house to 4th house that the dog was barking as I can see the dog is barking alots arghh even I said to the dog to said SHUT UP!!!!!! then the dog stop and staring at me then keep going barking arghh but now YAYAYAYAYAYA no more barking!!! lol :lol:

Umm, i am trying to explain.. its not the neighbors' complaints... but they did report and complaint about Rocky's barking.. because his barkings are like aggersative.. (looks like police dog barking mean at bad person).. "red zone" thats scary part for people to see dogs are like that.. and very heavy loud barkings that hurt hearing people's ears.. but still Rocky needs to stop barkings... he has no reason for that...

Also, Minnesota law for barkings, if more than 8-14 minutes nonstop barkings-- or on and off for 1 hour.. like 3 min apart of barkings..
he could for nonstop barking for full 11 mintues then maybe 2 minutes then again barkings..

I can understand how much you felt, due your concern 'bout the dog kept barking. I believe your dog already *stuck their memories about attack* and protection self for no reason.

Yeah I agreed w/you Rocky needs to stop barking for no reason and hopefully will come working a well. Wishes you have great luck working on your dog processing... *wink* Way to go! :thumb:

yes, that true. MY DAUGHTER ONE DOG, GOLDEN LAB TOOK ME A YEAR TO BREAK SOME OF HIS HABITS, ONLY ONE WAS UNSUCCESSFUL WHICH IS EATING HIS OWN DROPPING, IF NOT PICKED UP RIGHT AWAY. THIS ONE HAS BEEN LIVING IN A 4 X 6 CRATE IN BASEMENT AFTER BREAKING HIS BACK LEG. SHE TOOK ONE LOOK AT HIM AND SAID ENOUGH, ENOUGH I AM TAKING HIM OR I'LL REPORT YOU TO THE SPCA. POOR DOG, DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT GRASS IS. THE OTHER ONE WHICH IS A LAB MIX. IS SO TERRIFIED OF STRANGER HAS BEEN BEATEN WITH SO MANY DIFFERENT OBJECTS WHICH IS MY DAUGHTER'S NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR. Dang.. I am glad shes doing great.. I hate to see those like that.. People need to understand that pets are like kids, if pets are sick or injury, they should treat the same as kids or adults..

If they cant afford to pay vet bills, just like you cant afford the kids too..
whats more. they need to know.. if something happen to pets and cant afford.. they can surrender to animal shelters.. Now days alot of animal shelters are no kill.. OR VET clinics... too..

my sister family got a puppy last april solid tan color italian greyhound he is cute his name is Link
and he is coming over to my house today whoo woo can't wait to see him hehe

If you need help in training Rocky, please let me know. Snickers doesn't bark often, moreso at my parents apartment, but otherwise, she follows everything I have taught her pretty much flawlessly.
 
Great pixs of your dog, obviously is looking more mature...it's good to know that he's coming around and hopefully that bark of his will be less than what it has been for quite some time.

Another suggestion, rewarding with a treat for 'not' barking could help. ;)

Good luck with your dog and obviously is a beautiful dog as well as being cared for with much love. :)
 
Progress isnt good because neighbors having their friends or families over, they brought their own dogs.. got him real aggressive..

I found out.. this neighbors have been mean to Rocky.. They should be appreciated that I work so hard..

Sigh.. I am not writing up and sue them.. maybe I have to find something like face them that I am trying to work Rocky.. and try to cooperative not make him mad..

what did they do.. teenager boys were playing baseball .. Rocky was scared of them.. I puzzled.. when I came closer to them (behind fences).. Rocky was surprised and went up and defend me that he let me know those boys are not good guys.. so he barked at them.. I caught the boys said SHUT UP.. and hit the bats on ground and on fences.. Rocky ran and came back to me and start aggesive bark at them.. (sigh).. now i know why.. I told the boys dont do that.. they give me looks and go like nana..

other side neighbor.. was pumping up the soak water gun at him.. ahh.. busted.. thought hes nice guy.. hes my age.. sheesh..

so.. no wonder Rocky is aggressive toward to them because they were mean to him.. just because of his barkings.. they want him shut up..

I am lost.. I will have to think something else..
