I MAY be moving out of my parents and on my own...deaf wise what do I need to know to put in apt? I'd ask for something not on ground level of course..

Be sure to get renter's insurance.
Not sure what's the equivalent in Canada but here in the states it's like $10 US a month or $150-300 a year depending on the plan you choose.
Basically when natural disasters, burglary or theft occurs, you will be covered for cheap. Unless you won't have too many valuables in the apt, there's no reason to skimp on this.
I ideally want to live on my own..i don't think i'd fair well with a roomate lol I had a telephone on order from my audi dunno what ever happened with it lol ...I wonder if the landlord would maybe pay for the fire alarm hmm
Oh I wouldn't be living that far! lol I wanna stay in nepean/barrhaven area for sure
the glebe is too far from everything ...like my work and school etc and family..i'd rather be close to family ya know
What's the major good and bad cities in Canada?
It depends on which parts of these cities.
Like I said recently that Vanier is the most dangerous part of this city where I have lived.
In Vancouver, it would be Downtown East.
In Toronto, it is Jane and Finch Streets area.
Make sure not to live in Vanier area! It is the most dangerous area in Ottawa.
