Matt's Theme Park Review

Magic Mountain (So. Ca) --:thumbd: :thumbd: It was kind of smaller than 6 Flags in NJ. Almost every rides had VERY long lines and waiting hours were twice time than in NJ.
6 Flags in NJ -- :thumb: Has just about everything and every places you want to go! (Water Park and Safari included) No long lines there that take forever.
6 Flags in Mass-- So-so, Don't recall much.

The time I went to SFGA - NJ, the lines were HUGE. Well, it was 2002 Deaf Day. I like the park and it got a :ugh2:, but to me, it doesn't deserve a :thumb:. Give me more gardens and fountains, then I will be :D

I never get sick of any wild roller coaster rides! :) I'd ride the best rollercoaster ride of a theme park as many times as I can possibly do despite long queues.
;)

have any1 ever been to Midwest's Amusement park. since I've seen most posts are in Eastern or Western, don't even see a bit about Midwestern. I'm in the midwest, I've been to Worlds Of Fun. It's ok ok, some people it's fun to them but it's not to me. I've been there once each year since I was 3. It gets boring and boring when u go there every year. But anyway.. I've been to Great Escape somewhere in NY, Darien Lake, Ny and Worlds Of Fun. But will be goin to Cedar Points sometime Sept with bunch of college friends.

So Overall my best amusement park out of these above that I said would be Worlds Of Fun. Darien lake and Great Escape are too small. Worlds Of Fun is not under Six Flag, It's under Cedar Points I think. I can't remember. It's small but it's bigger than Darien Lake or Great Escapes.
Don't even go to Great Escapes, They're not really compatible amusement park. The last time I went there a lot of rides were closed due to not functioning, or not open for season. Man they rip our money off for a just piece of crap amusement park. I really think that place should shut down, since they dont even know how to run things like they are suppose to. Sorry to the peeps who live close to Great Escape, or like to go there..

If I were RICH -- I'd grab the opportunity to try EVERY theme amusement park and see which one would rate the highest and try every rollercoasters they each have. ;)
You can say that I'm absolutely addicted to fast and crazy rollercoasters, heh. I like those rides that make your stomache do somersaults and the sorts!
I never get sick from rides at all. Even after eating a big meal, never got sick! I reckon I have an iron clad stomache

I do remember Knott's Berry Farm...Gee!! I was all of what....6 years old when I went there! :P But I do give it a big :thumb: cos I rode a few good rides in the kiddy section, heheh! That reminds me....when I go back to California for another visit, I'll be sure to go to Knott's Berry Farm and try out the adult rides and rate it. ;)

I went to Knotts MANY years ago, when I was a lil kid. Damn, it is over 17 years ago because my brother is 16 and it was before my mom got pregnant. I would love to go back to Cali.

Hard to believe that time really does fly by FAST! Really wish we were able to slow the clock down a bit so we can enjoy every moment of our lives a bit better. Ya know? ;)

A season pass that you can use for all the 6 Flags theme park chain? I didn't know about that....! When did that go into effect? I sure would LOVE to have one!

I just found out that Paramount is 'owner' of King Dominion...where is that and what sort of park is it? I remember you mentioning that one......
Yes, I know since at least 2000, you can get a season pass that is good for any Six Flags Theme Park. The earlier you buy it, the cheaper. I give them out for Christmas Gifts. For Six Flags in Mass, it cost me $55 each. Great Deal.

Paramout owns Kings Dominion (VA) and Kings Island (OH). I believe you can get Seasons passes for them, too. ( I can check the web site). Kings Island has 2 good coasters, and that is about it. Kings Dominion is a GREAT and BEAUTIFUL park. I would give that one :thumb::thumb:

the location of KD is in Doswell, Virginia north of Richmond :)

yes yes i LOVE Kings Dominion myself as im there every year LOL

-Six Flags, NJ
-Hershey Park, PA
-Dorney Park, PA
-Six Flags in Riverside (I'm not sure maybe in CT area?)
-Disneyworld
-Seabreeze (Rochester, NY? -I went to EYF and we went there, but it was so small :ugh:

I heard about Cedar Point. I have friends from Ohio that told me about it and they say it's a good theme park, so I'm really curious to go there but time and $$ argh. I love theme parks lol

What is your opinions on the ones you've been to??

Six Flags in NJ...I grew up going there..I even live 15-20 mins away from there, so it's fun going with friends and going on favorite rides and playing games :)

Hershey Park, PA..went there like few times, not too recently so I can't really remember anything.

Dorney Park, PA..it was fun, recently went there for my senior class trip. It's small but I was suprised it was less crowded.

Six Flags in Riverside...it was YEARS ago so I really don't remember (sorry! lol)

Disneyworld, FL..totally rocked. I recently went there last Feb..it was fun! (Not trying to be mean, but I got totally lucky I left to Florida before the President's Day storm hit Northeast)

Seabreeze (Rochy, NY?) I didn't like the park. Rides were horrible.

My next theme park? CEDAR POINT! Only if I had the time and $$ lol
