As some people out there know, I am a theme park nut. Thursday, I went to Cedar Point for the 1st time. Seeing how beautiful and clean the park is, it got me thinking. What are your opinions about different parks. Here are the ones that I have visited recently, and my opinions about them.

Six Flags New England (MA) - My home park, and I feel one of the better Six Flags I have been to. :thumb:

Cedar Point (OH) - Awesome. Very Clean, and all rides were working. :thumb:

HersheyPark (PA)- Very clean and beautiful park. :thumb:

Kings Dominion (VA) - I love the fountains and the scenery when you enter. Great rides also. :thumb:

Busch Gardens Williamsburg (VA) - Beautiful scenery and theming. Very clean. :thumb:

Six Flags America (DC) - Very Understaffed. Many rides closed. Fight broke out on Superman and they closed it. :thumbd:

Six Flags Great Adventure (NJ) - Operators had the rides moving very fast. I just wasn't impressed with the scenery. :ugh2:

Six Flags Darien Lake (Buffalo, NY) - Not a bad lil park. Not many rides though. :thumb:

Six Flags World of Adventure (OH) - Many rides were broke or closed. Park was dirty. I was not impressed with it. :thumbd:

Six Flags over Georgia (GA) - Well Kept Park. No Complaints :thumb:

What have been your experiences or opinions about the parks you've visited.

Ugh Matt...

I thought, Rocky Point Park is your FAVORITE theme park !! :D I grew up that area whole my life ! It is sucks !

Hi Matt !

My favorite theme park is in Tampa Bay, Florida at the Busch Gardens. I love to drive through the safari adventure. The monkey sat on my car approach the pink ass at front window shield. Yikes... Thanks God, the monkey did not shit anything on my car.

I love to rub the griffin's under chin when I opened the window. The head went through and smell at my face. I think, the griffin likes to smell my perfume.

I am not sure if I will go to New England Six Flagg for the Deaf Social Aug 2nd. My two teenager boys dislike go there with many crowd people on Saturday. They prefer to go during weekdays.

Oh yeah, my kids like go to the Water Country in New Hampshire. We will go there in August with other friends. It will be fun!

P.S. Hope to see you around as soon as possible ! Do not worry, I will be a good behave.

six flags in d.c. sucks
six flags in nj, ok
my woman's bedroom and have sex like rides BESTEST ONE!

It does suck that Rocky Point and Lincoln Park had to close. It was places for the kids to go and keep them out of trouble.

These parks I listed are the parks I have been to in the past 2 years. I have been to others, but not recently.

vvti, what didn't you like about HersheyPark??

Matt I have to agree about its a place to go to keep them out of trouble. I wonder since Rocky Point and Lincoln closed What do they go to ??

HersheyPark I was there when I was 15 years old, It was cool and I had a great time with my family (Dad take me to apple picking every year but Dad said "lets go other places too" so He end up taking us to HersheyPark We had lots of funs!!!)

Yeah vvti what's up with Hershey Park??

Wendy

Yeah...I'm from the area too, and it sucks that Rocky Point had to close....remember the Free Fall? That ride ROCKED! We used to go there when I was in high school for the end-of year field trip. The last time I went to Rocky Point, it had gotten pretty junky.
I very very vaguely remember Lincoln Park...that was in Dartmouth right? It closed in...what? '87? (year I was in second grade) Anyone ever been to Canobie Lake in NH (Salem)? The last time I went there, I ran into an old buddy of mine from summer camp!
I went to Six Flags New England when it was called Riverside...I liked the rides there. I attend school near there now, but for some reason I haven't gotten over to do the rides and things. I'd like to go for the New England Deaf Social...I think that would be fun! Has anyone been to the Big E in Western MA in the fall? It's an agricultral fair and it has some cool rides and things. I went there last September with my mom and daddy and sister when they came to pick me up at school for my mom's birthday.
I went to Hershey Park a few weeks ago....I LOVE rollercoasters and had a BLAST going on all of them. I stayed late and managed to be able to sit in the front on a lot of them. I did wimp out on one of them...Great Bear I think it was called?
I've been to Six Flags Great Adventure in NJ twice. Once in high school, and once in jr. high. My favorite ride there is probaly The Great American Scream Machine. I remember in high school, I had just switched from ITE aids to BTEs and I forgot to take the BTEs out on GASM (which is an upside down roller coaster) You can imagine the results!
I also remember going to Sesame Place as a small child and there used to be a dinky amusement park called Bushkill Park which my grandparents took me to. I also remember going to Storyland in NJ when I was little too.

LOL -- im NOT at all surprised on ur rating for the 6 Flags here in MD/DC being a chorus :thumbd:

it IS a bad theme park -- i was there recently for Deaf day and im not at all surprised it was understaffed and shit -- but ahh ill wait another 10 years LOL unless someone else talks me into going there within the 10 year time span

i am a regular at the Kings Dominion park in VA have been for the last 15 to 20 years maybe longer -- i love that park over 6 Flags as i go there once every year for Deaf day :thumb:

I have went to Darien Lake in NY. It was okay but what I like the most is I get to go on the rides over and over, less lines.

Oooooooooooooooooh! I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee fast rides! :)
6 Flags Magic Mountain, Ventura, California :thumb: X2 I loved the Batman ride, Collosus( shit, forgot the spelling....huge white rollercoaster).

Great America, Santa Clara, California :thumb: X3 (Remmy Java, we went there 3 or 4 days in a row!!!! I was NUTS?!?!? Heheheheh) ( I had a Season Pass -- so had free access to Great America any time I wanted to!)

Disneyland, Anaheim, California -- it was a nice theme park -- nice combination of different adventerous sections of the park. I especially loved the ride, 'It's a Small, Small World' -- there's other rides but cannot remember the names, ooops. :-X

MovieWorld, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia :thumb:

Almost went to DreamWorld north of Gold Coast in Queensland, but plans got changed at the last minute, grr. Oh well...next time! Then I'll rate it! ;)

Oh, that's right -- Java...I remember driving past Marine World some years ago and there were rumours about adding rides there and I did see some constructions going on at the time. So, it's actually completed and done for?
What about the poor animals??? To be honest, I have never been a great fan having animals in a loud theme park like Marine World Africa USA has converted its park into one. :(
It must be terrifying for the animals to have to cope with the screaming idiots from the rides...that includes myself as an idiot -- ya know what I mean?

YES i remmied u were here for the short time of its building it has since been finished i already went on several rides theres ONLY three animal themes here one s in the very front the other two is in the sea world away from the rides the stages are pretty muffled out by the sounds of the rides

Cedar Point is the best amusement park!! Yes, Six Flags at Ohio was Geauga Lake Amusement park years ago next to Sea World. The amusement was that popular like CP is.

I went to Universal Studios in LA, Disneyworld and Busch Garden in Florida.

I guess I was right about Six Flags America just outside of DC. Things about six flags I like are:
  • Cheap Season Tickets
  • Fastlane Paging System
  • They are all over the country, and with your season pass, you are almost guarenteed to past one.
But, to be a great park, I think it has to be clean, and have great scenery. That is what parks like Cedar Point and Kings Dominion have that I like.

Yes, Lincoln Park was in Dartmouth. Good memory. I remember going there when I was a lil kid. And yes, I did go to Canobie Lake many years ago, as well as storyland in NH. Both, I think, are oriented towards younger kids.

Is there a club for Rollercoaster Deaf Enthusiasts??
I don't know. I know there is ACE (American Coaster Enthusiests) but they are a bunch of wackos and weirdos.

Because you're sick of it doesn't mean that it isn't a :thumb" park. I get sick of Six Flags Mass, but It still is one of the cleaner Six Flags and has some decent rides and scenery.
