I prefer biscuit over English muffin.

It depends on which restaurant I am at.

McDonald's - I prefer McMuffin with folded eggs.

Hardee's and few others - I prefer biscuits.

If it's an Egg McMuffin, I prefer the muffin.

If they offer Biscuits and Gravy, I prefer that.

Here Hardee's is where you order the biscuits ? McDonalds is McMuffin.

Your not missing anything. Every time I eat at McDonald's I ask myself why did I do that?

I'm not a fan of much of McDonald's breakfast, but then again, I don't like either biscuits or McMuffins. So on the rare time I go there for breakfast, I get their egg & cheese bagel.

The only item I get from McDonald's is the biscuits and gravy, and that's only when I don't eat at home (which is usually a bowl of oatmeal). That's not even a half dozen times per year, so it's a treat.

Most of the time when I have bought rather than made my own at home it has been picked up in the morning and taken to a meeting where we are "brown bagging" for lunch. The lunch items are put in the refrigerator and if needed to be hot reheated in a microwave. I have found that the Egg McMuffin works well for this. Not sure how often I will get it for lunch otherwise now that we can but I do really like it for lunch.

I do happen to be a a muffin state according to the map.

I do like their coffee it's Paul Newman brand . Yeah it's fun to have a treat from time to time . I like my eggs over easy and that would not work it would be to messy to handle. . We had a great breakfast place down town but it told to new owners and it was never the same. That is interesting that you can't biscuits all in all the pink states .

Not a fan of McD either.... if I were to stop by, I'd go for egg and sausage biscuits.

Maybe it mean "secret ingredients' ? KFC has "secret ingredient" .
No, not the ingredients. They are special menu items that aren't posted on their regular website but that can be ordered at local McD's. I don't know why they are "secret;" probably it would be better to call them special, unlisted or regional.

:laugh2: How can that be a secret when it all over the internet and I see some of this on TV . People like biscuits in my state but it not in the biscuit zone . The only fast food I buy is pizza and a sub once in awhile.
