Well, NRA, how do you like your latest 2nd Amendment poster boy? This immature boy, trying to be "macho" carries his big gun into Walmart. "Hey, it's legal", right? And he has .357 Magnum too! So manly!
Grow up and join the army, instead of shooting squirrels with your BIG GUN
One of the comments from the link:
I think it was nuts for the guy to had brought his guns to Walmart as there could had been another person with a concealed gun at the store and they may thought the guy was a mass shooter and shot him.
If such a person with a CWP saw the man with the rifle in Walmart, he would/should watch him to make sure he was not going to use it in the store. A CWP person WILL go to prison if he shoots the man doing nothing wrong.
A trained CWP holder knows the reason why he/she wears a gun....to protect yourself if threatened with bodily harm or to stop someone who is an active threat to others, such as a man holding a knife to a woman threatening to harm her. You order the man to drop the knife and letting him see that you mean business. If he drops it, you hold him at gunpoint until police arrive or if he starts stabbing the woman, you shoot him to end it, saving her life.
Statistics shows that less than .2 percent of CWP holders commit a crime by making the wrong decision. Many police officers never fire their weapons during their career to stop a criminal. Same goes for CWP holders. I have had mine over 10 years and have never had the need to pull it.
some people do not think they act out of fear and the person may not be carrying their gun legally and would not do everything you said.
Ok, any one of you, gun owners, the article mentioned that Walmart didn't allow him to come back with his guns. What's up with that?
You missed my point. He could come back without his guns. Why? Because this is not Wild Wild West. He's fucking nuts thinking it's OK for him as a civilian to carry a gun in public. OF COURSE, it scared the shit out of people. I bet that you don't do that because you have common sense, don't you?I'm sure it's just for that day since people got rattled and police was involved. at least he was allowed to come back.... not banned or issued trepass ticket.
He didn't put it in the case before entering. Not carrying a rifle out in public like that without a carrying case if he needs it to be fixed. You think there were only adults getting scared, fucking no, there were children as well.Paul, re-read the article, the kid made his point. The manager didn't realize that the Wal-Mart allows it because they sell guns and he just wanted to bring it in to see if they could get it fixed or whatever since it didn't say if they could or not on the website. Plus the rifle is not in working condition. The manager was just doing it for the customers since they knew nothing about it. The kid is partly right though, manager forgot or didnt know everything about the how Wal-Mart runs its business. The kid also made a statement to have the public realize he is wise and did the right thing the whole time. It is not about the gun control.. it is the fear.. and people not thinking straight when it comes to that. I support this kid... no one is calm anymore.. I think these people needs to be on medication or some sort.

That's my point. When people including children (customers) see someone carrying a rifle without the case, it's very reasonable for them to get scared. I am sure that Walmart and police think that he's fucking nuts doing that way. He has no common sense at all since he's 21 fucking years old. That's why one of the commenters said "Grow up!". I bet that Jiro wouldn't do that because he has common sense (hopefully).Of course people were freaked out. There had just been a shooting in Oregon then the tragedy in Newton. If he was going in to get his gun fixed why not keep in in it's case until he got to the gun counter?
No, you are the one missing the point. I said that he couldn't come back to the store with his guns so why not? Please explain! I didn't say that he must give his guns up.No you're the one missing the point . you need to reread this.
"A store manager then asked the man to leave and return without the rifle, Granlund added. " This is what the manger said. The guy was allowed to keep his gun!

I prefer to stick with the fact and the fact shows that what you speak of is statistically rare.... or more like statistically irrelevant.
