Know what I hate? I hate people who lie all the time. Even worse, they're caught... but still won't admit it.
I knew one student here at RIT who said that her teacher was out to get her. I asked her how many classes she missed and she said that she missed 7 classes. I then told her that she was probably failing because she missed too many classes. She kept denying the fact that it was because of her absences. A lot of professors at NTID grade a lot on attendance. There's usually 2 to 4 classes per week and missing 7 classes is 2 to 3 weeks worth of classes missed out. She's lucky that she isn't in RIT since some RIT professors drop a letter grade per class missed or only allow 2 absences per quarter before failing them.
There was another person who would claim to be one thing, but it was obvious that this person was lying... yet, they won't admit it. For instance, one guy told everyone that he was a manager at a retail store. The truth was that he was an overnight stocker. One gal told everyone that she was in college. She wasn't a student.
When are these people going to learn to accept the fact that they are what they really are... not lie all the time?
