Least favorite errand to do?

Really?!It may be boring, but I'm pretty sure I could change that for ya. As for not being good at it, well, I'm sure I could change that, and make you a very good cook.

Idk. My mom and sis are pretty good cooking and ny mom tried for some time to teach me but even when i followed everything step by step it cameout pretty gross. And then i would get too upset, maybe more than i should. I am truely better away from the kitche as much as i can.

Maybe not the fancy stuff, but stuff that's easy to do, and still taste pretty good? Like for example, I can teach you how to make really good fried potatoes, and the likes, but if you're better off away from the kitchen, then perhaps we should leave it like that.

I truly truly hate the DMV.

I've got my birth certificate, social security, proof of residency, proof of car registration and insurance. Waited in line forever to get my number, to wait some more, and make sure I have everything and get the application to fill out. They're sending me back home to get my marriage license because my last name on my birth certificate is different from everything else. Ugh. This is going to take like all day. ALL day, I asked the lady why it doesn't say anything on their website about needing your marriage license. She said it does it's at the bottom, I just looked again it does not! I hate the DMV.

I feel sorry for you. That's surely not how you planned to spend today-- stuck at the DMV all day. Hopefully tomorrow will be a brighter day for you.

What about from your divorce as well. It seems it wouldn't hurt to have that along and save a trip if needed and nothing lost if they don't need it.

Been there....when the Bank lost my license and I had to get a renewal....They had me running all over Downtown...now I hang on to my License.

I haven't changed my last name yet, so I shouldn't need that. Just something that shows why my last name is different now. If I had changed my name I probably would.

Is it possilble as to why some people keeps their last name after they got divroced? :hmm:

I don't get it when you don't mention the least of running the errands for someone like a Mom or a neighbor or for a friend or someone who ask you to get something, not for yourself. You all don't get it when it is the word "errand".

Like for me, I don't want to do the errands for my sister or my in-in-laws at night time because I could not see in the dark very well with my car going to the store. That is errand.

What you are saying does not make any sense when you talk about yourself, not someone who you are suppose to take care of.

See what TubeTj mention: Not certain if it falls into my least favorite, but since I live in the middle of no where, I have to drive to the post office to get my mail.

That is not an errand because he is not doing the mail for someone who ask him to do that for him. Geeze

Please see Reba's posts, and then come back here. I understand more clearly from what she said.

Wow, that's frustrating. I hope there are no more hold ups for you.

No, you are not.

Actually, yes. She explained what I could've said instead of what I DID say, but I'm choosing to leave it as is; I'm not in the mood to begin a debate here. It's a closed matter in my opinion, as far as I'm concerned, and thanks to Reba, I now understand better.

The way I see what other posters make comments which is nothing to do with doing the errand for someone. It is like off topic, like talking about themselves on what they are doing like shoveling (not errand) or going to the DMV (not errand) or getting your own mail (not errand). What is the least errand that you don't want to do for someone, not for yourself?

Because it doesn't have to be strictly for other people, Reba posted the definition. Often for other people is not always for other people.

You just don't give up, do you? I done told you it is a closed subject. Plus, people around my parts commonly say this; why are you so intent on keeping this up? It's done with; I now get the true meaning. Can you please just drop it? I'd like to have a good day, and not have this thread spoiled. Have a nice and pleasant day.
