For me, it's rent and cable, as these two total nearly $500 in bill payments.

What's your least favorite errand to do? And why?

Cooking. I hate cooking, i find it extremely boring and im not too good at it. It frustrating.

I don't understand what you are trying to use the word "errand". The word "errand" mean you go to the store to get something for someone (your family member like Mom) and bring them back to someone which your famly member are not able to go. A family member or neighbor ask you to get something from the store or other area and bring something to her or him. That is what errand meant. I don't know what you mean "least errand". Does it mean you hate to go on the errand? :hmm:

My least favorite errand is grocery shopping. I actually love doing the shopping, but hate having to carry in all those heavy bags and put everything away. Luckily for me, hubby does most of the shopping since I became disabled.

If I was not disabled, my house would be so friggin clean. I love to organize stuff. My closets upstairs and down all need to be cleaned out and given to Good Will. My Dystonia is awful right now, so very slow moving, no lifting etc. I have a whole extra room filled with stuff the girls are storing and a ton of our stuff that needs to be cleaned out. Then I would like hubby to do his office and eventually the garage. God, wish I had the energy and no pain so I could get it all done.

As Angel1989 and Dreamer03 have indicated, these are exactly what I am talking about-- the least favorite thing you like to do for yourself. It can be for others, too, if you'd like.

Really?!It may be boring, but I'm pretty sure I could change that for ya. As for not being good at it, well, I'm sure I could change that, and make you a very good cook.

My parents' Standard Poodle often gets dirty eyes. I have to clean the eyes.

Other least favorite errand include shoveling snow and having to warm up vehicles.

Can you do remote starts on the vehicles ? Not certain, some places are pretty restrictive on an unattended running vehicle. That being said, I have remote start on two vehicles, one gas, one diesel. Life saver.

Shoveling snow ? Yeah, hate that too, but in another thread you mentioned having extra snowblowers you were trying to off ? Perhaps a good time for a build thread on a turbo snow blower ? Be cool if you could run along fast enough to keep up with it. :hmm:

Not certain if it falls into my least favorite, but since I live in the middle of no where, I have to drive to the post office to get my mail.

I have no remote starter on my 1999 Chevy Express van. I wish I did.

I should add turbo to every snowblowers that I have. That way, everyone who buys my snowblower would get a great exercise.

Here, there is no rules of letting idle vehicle warming up. I hope it does not come here.

That's another least favorite thing to do-- head to the post office in bitterly cold weather. If a certain piece of mail does not show up today, I'm gonna have to start making some inquiries, and finding out why it hasn't shown up yet.

Just FYI:

from dictionary.com

I am well aware of what it stands for. I don't want to put chores or something kid-like, cause I'm not here to treat people like that. I want to respect people, and ask them in a good way, and not in a way that may cause issues.

An errand and a chore are different activities.

That's why we say running errands--because they involve some travel to accomplish.

Chores definitely aren't just for kids.

However, if you meant the more general topic, "What are your least favorite routine activities" that could include errands and chores.

Even cleaning poodle eyes. :giggle:

Taking my dogs to the vet. I feel sad when they get shots and they look betrayed because the vet was pretending to be their friend right before.

My Labs didn't notice the shots so much; it was the anal thermometer that got their attention.

Having my car repaired and sitting and sitting...waiting and waiting...guessing it's not an "errand or a chore"...but it's something I don't like to do....cleaning the cat liter box...and they go again right afterwards....grrrrr!...In-between grooming for my doggie...having to cut the hair on her butt-hole!...yep,,,,,,it's a chore....

And scrubbing the bathtubs....

I have four kitties, and one of them is the most friendly to any strangers or friends who visit my house. The very very very same kitty that my hub takes him to vet. He become the most meaniest kitty.
