I remember my ex dating, friends and I went to fancy restaraunt (I forget the name), 60 dollar per plate, when I asked one of my cornell friend, why it is expensive, he asked not to say like that, ppl are really not friendly or too hushy to talking and get order from me but I was slow down, look around, but they said not looking around, notice some people are dressy nice but look like students from columba, we are not really nice dressy because we went to basketball game...i noticed that why did people not friendly and busy in ny, when it happened like accident or robbed, they never helped...

You're scared of us, aren't you? Is that why you try to kick me out of your threads?

see? it is very rude to ask many questions.

Of course.

Living in New York is expensive. To keep up the lifestyle, most people gets rich by mugging people.

yeah, I know. I would not supposed to wear dressy or bring leather jacket when out in street. I always keep my wallet in front pocket...it is not surprised one of my friend drive BMW but it should not inside in wrong area. He decided that we have to walk to take bus and subway to madison garden but it is bit far, lucky his car wasnt robbed by peope. I thought it is safe city in nyc but need to stay with friends. Most people would love to rob people who are ivies.

It's actually the opposite... It's the "ivies" who rob you of your dignity.

His literature level is pretty much self-explanatory. Etiquette might not be part of his vocabulary either. "His egotism writes a check, but his body can't cash it."

it's a misconception that so many in NYC are out to rob you...I have been there many many times and have never been robbed or mugged, and when I was younger I went into some pretty bad areas for reasons I care not to divulge....anyway, in the late 90's I lost my wallet in NYC and actually got it back, credit cards and all. Well, the $20 in there was gone, but the guy who found it told me sheepishly that he was broke and thought I wouldn't mind if he spent it. And of course I didn't care, I was just glad, and dumbfounded, to actually get my stuff back. Crazy world.
